  • Ugg should just stick to making uggs imo

For that money I'd rather get a pair of Aussie made Mongrels or Redbacks

Pretty sure there's a better coupon code, ENDOFWINTER10, for 15% off ($109.96 delivered), offer expires 16th Oct according to the sale page.

Interesting. Never seen 2 codes stack on eBay before. I guess it's because the codes are of different types: one offer by the seller and the other is coupon provided by eBay.

    ENDOFWINTER10 AU $109.96 shipped
    MCPAY10V4 99.96 shipped

Two coupons stack for guest account on ebay, so should work for everyone …?

Not sure about the seller. UGG fakes out there much? Feels like massive reduction from RRP. Maybe I'm wrong.

Their main website is https://everaustralia.com.au/, ABN https://www.abr.business.gov.au/ABN/View/71134213817

They are not to be confused with the more prestigious UGG brand.

See the UGG Trademark dispute article for clarification on the usage of the word 'Ugg' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ugg_boots_trademark_dispute

      • Right. How the hell they get away with same name I don't know.

        • You can't really trademark something part of the aussie vernacular. Ugg in Australia means sheepskin boots not a brand of sheepskin boots I guess, so you can use the name ugg boots in australia as a generic term and ugg as part of your brand in australia - or something like that.

        • American court chooses American company over the truth. Shocker.

      • This comment needs to be pinned up there. Almost fell for the "brand". Checked the logos on these boots vs the real Ugg brand we know of to verify this comment and sure enough they're different.

        • +1

The "real" ugg brand is crap, too.

      • They are not to be confused with the more prestigious UGG(au.ugg.com) brand.

wouldn't exactly call them prestigious.. it's the same made in china crap, they were just the first copyright troll in the door.

In 2016, Deckers rebranded to "UGG", instead of "UGG Australia", in response to an investigation by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission because of a complaint that the reference to "Australia", in its branding of sheepskin boots manufactured in China and Vietnam, was misleading and deceptive, and therefore in breach of Australia's consumer protection and fair competition laws. Deckers now refers to the UGG brand as "Californian" rather than "Australian".

Yeah they have awful reviews, searched for the boots reviews. Also RRP on other sites for same boot seems to be $130. That's a no from me dawg.

    But thanks for posting tho!

    • Wait for it!

      https://uggexpress.com.au/products/work-safety-boots-mens-le…

Seems the same product but marked down from $320:))

      • Yeah true. The 4 other places I found including Catch had them around $130 also, and we're "discounted" from around $320… Seems like a bs RRP.

        • +1

I would rather get some from Target/Kmart where you can actually see the product.

  • It seems that all the Ugg companies (Aussie or chinese) are completely dodgy with poor manufacturing standards and highly inflated RRP’s everywhere. An Ugg regulatory body needs to be established and headed by someone like Don Chip in order to keep the bastards honest.

  • +4

Sorry people, after much research I no longer consider this a deal.

These are just $120 made in china boots with a nasty 320rrp to trick folks and I was one of them.

    • +2

But thru this post we gained knowledge on manufacturer's marketing stunts with the word "Ugg" and that, my friend, just saved me some money. Thank you!

      • +3

The only reason I post online is to help people, so thanks.

        • +2

Yeah appreciate the post and everything. We can't know until we know!

  • Some very valid comments so why the negs?
