Just note that there is plastic inside the cap, so if you're wanting something that's 100% stainless steel where the water doesn't touch plastic, this won't fill that requirement.

FWIW these things are cheap and really not that great (for something marketed as being worth 35$ that is - for a cheap bottle, they work, and they do keep your drink/beer cold). We got these exact bottles in bulk at work for some event that I can't remember anymore. I think we paid about a dollar something each for them.

Just FYI, as someone who deals with Alibaba sellers, the $0.59 is probably in cartons and cartons, you end up chatting to them and it's magically actually $1.59/bottle, then there is import taxes, shipping, customer support, freight etc.
The design is also similar to others, but doesn't mean the materials, plastics, steels are. The bottle in that Alibaba are from India, most are made in China. Can't exactly compare it to Alibaba.
There are so many factories making these kinds of bottle designs, with very different quality levels.
Which doesn't mean the thing you got in bulk, that was crap, is the same as Pushy's version.
For $3.74 delivered, I mean, that's a deal.
There are a lot out there, and i'm sure the quality varies a bit, but these are exactly the same to the ones we got at work, down to the line around the metal cap, the plastic lip just below that, the line just below the base of it and the base. Even the way the matte finish changes at the neck.
I've experience the same as you're talking about with Alibaba sellers also, this was more of just an example to go along with my own experience with the company getting these bottles in, that these are not $35 bottles marked down to $5 (and then 3.74) - theres are worth a couple bucks, and $3.74 would still be making them a dollar or so profit. We didn't pay more than $2 ea even after shipping and I think we got about 500 of them. If our marketing team can sort that out on a whim, I'm sure these guys would have been able to also.
If they had said the regular price was $10 and marked it down I wouldn't have negged, but saying these are $35 bottles going for ~90% off, that's where my neg is coming from. I still use my bottle when I can find it.
I found these half price, if people want better quality, then $10 more will do it for ya. Woolworths seems to have a sale on Decor insulated bottles.
And yeah $35 RRP is day light robbery for that bottle!
@checkingthisout: The bottles aren't terrible quality, don't get me wrong, they just aren't $35 bottle quality. I still use mine.

yea these bottles have insolation for 2 hours max, they advertise hot and cold insulation for over 24 hours… I have tested… they're crap

It's not a terrible bottle for $3.74, for the $35 they were saying it was previously though, I would call it bad (and the store for charging that amount).
If it's a fully steel product and worth even $6 in market, it's still not a bad price. The cheapest price of such bottles I have seen has been at Aldi, $5 or $7 I reckon. Everywhere else it's usually $10 and above irrespective of the quality.
It is mostly steel, there is rubber/plastic in the cap to make the vacuum seal. It's not a bad product for 3.74, it's just a bad company for saying they are worth $35 :(
I agree.. $35 is a rip off (even to mention, leave aside selling at that price). Why wouldn't someone who is willing to pay $35 go for Thermos or Camelbak anyway?

i have this type of bottle and the silicone gasket is getting gross, does anyone know where to find a replacement thats just the gasket? I've found places that sell replacement lids that come with the gasket but it seems like a waste to buy it.
