  • really worth it when petrol station is down the road?

    • +2

A petrol station air pump can blow the tube in a bike from the volume of air it puts out.
If your bike or scooter tyre needs a top up it's easier to just do it at home. You're also not going to bring your basketballs down to the servo to pump up.

      • yeh true. My bad. I was just thinking of cars for some reason
        Goodnight!

  • Thats not a bargain.

  • +2

How does it compare to the Xiaomi one

  • Lol. Back to $139 now

  • How long will this take to do my tractor?

    • I use the Xaomi one to top-up tires on my compact tractor. Rear wheels take a few minutes, front are pretty quick. I wouldn't bother with flat, would take a week….

  • thanks OP. bought one.

    • me too

        i don't believe you

        • LOL

  • Niche question but anyone know if the battery in either this unit or the Xiaomi is replaceable?

    • +1

Not sure about this specific one, but the battery in my 3.6V Bosch screwdriver died. I opened it up and it was a standard Samsung 18650 cell. I bought a replacement and soldered it in and it works great. I imagine this would be the same, so it's easily replaceable if you can do a bit of soldering or know someone who can.

      • +1

I also did the same for my old Bosch IXO Cordless screwdriver. Just a standard 18650 Lithium-Ion battery inside.

      • Brilliant- that's great- thank you both👍

  • Does anyone know a good pump for a SUP board?

    • +1

With sups you really need a pump that offers both high-volume/low pressure (to get them up to fullish but not tight) then switch to low-volume/high pressure (to get them up to a high PSI for firmness and max stability). This pump would definitely not offer that.

I use a Dewalt 18v handheld blower for stage one (very very quick IE 30 seconds) then I bought a Schraeder adapter from eBay and bring up the PSI with a bike pump (this part can take a few minutes).

This Ozito one does high pressure on one side and high volume on the other.

        Ryobi has one too.

        • you guys are legends! my broken back thanks you.

        • @eug I'm guessing Ozito/Ryobi needs an adaptor too? Does bunnings have it?
