First time poster, long time lurker..

A good deal on Bowden's Own most protective spray, Bead Machine.

Bit of a 2 step process to get the best out of this one, Flash Prep should be used first to strip off any old waxes/sealants. Sparesbox on eBay has best deal on that at the moment - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/164383419839?hash=item264603edbf…

This stuff works amazing on shower screens and cars as well I suppose

Did anyone else read it as bread machine?

      Thought that's a typo…

      Sure did

      Should have gone to Specsavers

how many applications do you normally get from 1 bottle - thinking of a medium to large SUV?

    • I double coat and one bottle lasts 5 applications, every 2-3 months. It's brilliant stuff

      • ohh wow, i have 1 i've used once and been intending (and doing) the snow cannon one between coats.

when you double coat are applying buffing and then applying again?

Yeah wipe on rub off then once more.

  • Any good for rims? Keep them clean of dirt.w

      Don't drive!

    • I'd assume so, I just use Wet Dreams every wash on my wheels.

    • Works on most things. Wont last as long on rims. Wet Dream (or the meguairs hybrid ceramic wax) would be easier

    • hotrod asks about rims, someone replies with Wet Dreams and yet nobody has dived right in (with innuendo)

      Oh hold on…….

Thanks OP, will give this a go.

Tried my NRMA card at checkout and took an extra $1.70 off…

    • Nice, didn't even think to try that!

    • Looks like the discount doesn't stack if you add 2 to the cart to get the B1G1F offer. I guess you could order 1 and pretend you made a mistake when picking up your order to get the 2nd free.

    • not for RAA

Out of curiosity, would these be safe to use on ceramic coating? Or would that be overkill?

    • +1

description says it's fine "Can be used as a base layer, or to top up existing waxes, sealants, and even ceramic coatings. "

Holds up pretty well after 4 months with 2 applications. Came 2nd in the testing.

  • Interested in comment for using on shower screens. Has anybody used it for this before and how effective would it be?

    • +1

Yes I do, and so far have found it better than the Endura Shield glass treatments. First I use the CLR bathroom spray, that gets rid of the built up calcium, limescale etc. Then do the Flash Prep, finish it with Bead machine.

  • any other bogo deals? i have like 3 different ones i got from other deals. i don't think i will even finish what i have, i hope there isn't an expiry date.

    • Their website is SOOO shit, there is no way that we can see this easily
Under car care, there are a few wipes with the same deal, plus this glass cleaner. 2 for $7

      • +1

i got the glass cleaner during the fathers day deal, it was 4 for $10
i should have also gotten the tyre shine for the same deal, but it is basically silicone grease that gets stuck on everything like glue.

  • What a bargain! Purchased two. Between the Beautiful Beads pack I purchased on clearance, I’ve got half a dozen bottles of Bead Machine.
    Definitely my favourite Bowden’s product.
