Never going back there again after than pathetic propaganda by the government during the Bali bombings anniversary…

      ok

      • -2

Not ok, it was very offensive to the families that attended.

        • +2

Did you attend, or are you just offended on behalf of someone else in a situation that doesn't relate to you personally? Didn't figure you for a virtue signaller, JV.

            @samba:

            Did you attend

            I watched it.

I am sure you will be missed

The Boogie board industry will miss me…

    • What happened?

Propaganda?? They showed a video of the bombing, you know the event they were remembering…… Just like we constantly see videos of the 9/11 planes, the Hiroshima bombing etc etc

People are just way to sensitive.

      • Propaganda??

        exactly what it was…

Our government has asked for an explanation from the Indonesians about this video.

      • +1

I respectfully disagree. The remembrance ceremony is meant for remembering of the victims, and their families. Showing videos of the actual violent event is disgraceful.

  • You can get a deluxe room for 2 for 5 nights at this hotel for $696?

Bali hotel prices are rock bottom right now. There's some really nice places going for around $100/night. Even less if you're not picky about dates

      • +1

@noisymime I'm a bit of a novice, how would I find some really nice places for $100/night? We've never been so don't have much idea of which places would be in a good location or not.

  • unlimited entry to Splash Water Park for a family of 6 and unlimited entry to Finns Recreation Club including 1hr each of Kids Club, Bounce Trampoline & Strike Bowling

strange inclusion considering their maximum room occupancy is 3 from all the rooms i could see, so 'kids club' would be aimed at families, which they dont have rooms to accommodate :/

    • Yeah, they really need to structure these family deals better on the hotel front. If they offered something like this with 2 adjoining rooms instead of individual rooms, cut the price a bit to take this into account and it'd be a great deal.

Seems alright, though you have to go to Bali, which is a deal breaker for me.

The Street where this is located isn't particularly fancy.. We stayed in a villa on the same street last week and it's a fairly narrow, dead and dirty street with empty blocks of land where cows and dogs love to rest! So it's an off vibe when you're heading home.. That's my 2 cents at least.

My recommendation would be staying in a resort in a more connected/main street like Marriott, Kanvaz etc.

    • I agree that the location of the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel is unusual for a Sheraton Hotel, in that it is not in a prominent location like on a beach or on the main street of a city.

However, I found that Gang Benesari was an interesting place with lots of restaurants, bars and shops.

  • In August, I had a nice room including breakfast for two for $A32 a night at the Fashion Hotel, Legian, which is really in Kuta.

  • We added an extra room because you have 2 kids under 5! nice..
    Same price for kids.
