I bought one of the 4 years ago as a gamble and I was sceptical it won't last. To my surprise still going strong!
Handy for lighting candles and the kitchen gas hob.
Only downside is the head gets soot build up which blocks the arch.. have to clean it with a hard bristle brush every 6 months.
1 charge is good for about of week of moderate use (daily lighting of gas hob and maybe 20x candles)
By this metric, I'd have to charge this every 3 weeks. Think you saved me from buying one

These are great for kids to use as tasers when playing cops & robbers.
Unfortunately they have limited range. Otherwise could recommend for teachers as well
Interestingly, these emit a high pitch sound that can only be picked up by younger kids - mine came running into the kitchen when I tried it asking what the noise was!

I wonder why they wouldn't have upgraded the design? Is USB-C charging more expensive to manufacture? I still see micro USB slots in some of these random devices e.g. mini reading lamp.

Very happy with almost daily use for gas cooktop, odd lighting of a candle or mosquito coil. Have only needed to recharge once in over a month.

Are these any good for lighting fire starter cubes? Like the wax ones for lighting BBQs. Thinking of the times when it's a bit windy and using a normal gas lighter is pretty annoying.
