DJI Avata FPV Drone, Goggles V2 & Motion Controller $1529 Delivered @ DJI eBay

140
SNSOCT

This may not be the Pro-View combo, but it is the lowest price for an Avata combo at the moment. I believe this is the Fly Smart combo. Normal price $1629, no store is doing decent discount on this yet (may be $1 less).

CASA FPV rules here.

It's a good one, but sadly you need to register as it's not allow to fly for recreation. Maybe wrong but better to check before placing an order.

Lick the postage stamp and just send it.

      • Licking stamps and drones are from different eras in our history. 🙂

    • In FPV we usually say “Just send it”, as long as you follow common sense and don’t be a dk you will be fine.

Thanks for sharing that info, but as I lived in the area that just near a RAAF base, i think it will be a different story.

        • Yeah good luck flying any drone there

        • Yeah that'd be a hard nope

      • You're highly unlikely to get caught and fined. But, if you caused property damage or injury you'd be up shit creek (and most likely unimsured)

    • j.u.s.t.s.e.n.d.i.t.

This company was recently blacklisted by the US for political reasons. Not sure if that will impact the product's use.

We aren't in the US so we should be fine, also I think you will find it was only blacklisted for military or government use.
Personal use is not blacklisted there

Battery life is shockingly low on this compared to their other recent products.

TBF, you should compare with other FPV drones.

And while the batteries are rated as lasting for up to 18 minutes of flight, they typically provide around 12 minutes of flight which is still longer than traditional FPV drones.

      1. It's ducted
      2. It's performance oriented

  • Fpv controller is out of stock for a while. So forget flips before Christmas.

  • I got one recently. I registered but declined all other options. It's pretty fun and impressive when poking through the house and through trees outside. I'd never be so confident with a Mavic doing the same. I thought that joys stick controller thing would be shit house too but turns out it's pretty intuitive and responsive. I ordered the FPV contoller but would easily be happy with the joy stick.
