  i had one of these and found it would constantly lose connection to the phone app. This means that it starts to blink repeatedly until the app is able to pair with the bulb again. Flicking the light switch off and on wouldn't stop it from blinking either.

  Utterly frustrating as i would need to fumble and find my phone when this occurs, which is a complete pain in the ass at say 2am when the phone is nowhere near the room with this bulb and meanwhile you try not to have an epileptic attack because of the blinking strobe effect.

  Ended up throwing it out and using a bulb that doesn't need a Bluetooth connection to function at its most basic purpose… to stay on.

    No such problem with mine even if the WiFi router is switched off.

  Odd, must have been a bad one. I got 10 of these in Bunnings at $4 each and they all work ok for 9 months now.
