    Oversized

Thats slim fit for the average ozbargainer.

    • +8

      extra slim for your mum

        • He's probably coping since he doesn't have one.

        • bro, you're low effort. If you gonna make a mom joke/insult, you gotta make it funny

His post was funnier than yours…

          • +1

@1st-Amendment: Mine wasn't even supposed to be funny and no, his post wasn't funny at all. Unless you're 12, then you may find it funny

I’m getting $59.98 for two with $10 shipping

Turns out there’s only two for $5 the Nirvana shirt and Metallica..

  • +4

It would be nice if OP put down exactly what was on special. There’s only two shirts covered, I guess it’s technically select tshirts but still, much less exciting than the title would suggest.

I’ll remove my neg cause the links in the description are good but some specifying is really needed for the main “deal”.

  • +3

Cool the only 2 shirts I wanted were those on sale, combined with $20 Cheddar Survey deal the other day I made about $10 profit here. 💪

  • Spent 10 mins trying to select a store with low stock and gave up.

  • -8

Low in stock, and it looks like online only.

    • +1

Well every store in Sydney seems to be available for C&C 🤷

  • thnx, metallica shirt for 5 bux!

  • ummm why does opendns block cottonon?

  • +2

Always wanted a Nirvana tee… grabbed two (2nd one half price) for $7.50 and $3.00 click & collect fee. Cheap… thanks!

Just be mindful Cotton On is fast fashion, so don't expect the "quality" to last that long. Probably best if it stays a sleep shirt tbh.

Uh oh, upset the fanboys 😂

      • That's essentially what I want it for (for sleeping in/bumming around the house). I don't mind if it's like the cheap gamer tees from EB. I just hate shirts where the neckline is stretched out so much you can fit 2 or more heads through it lol

        • Yeah bumming around the house is fair enough, I haven't tested the cheap EB gamer tees so can't compare there.

I don't make oversized shirts a habit of mine but is the whole shirt bigger including neckline? I don't like chokers like some are but definitely a 2 headed hole is too big haha

        Cotton On is fast fashion

        as opposed to?

        • +1

As opposed to shops that actually make quality shit that lasts. Sure you might pay a bit more and that might be out of reach for some people but it's worth it long run.

Fast fashion is especially popular among (female) teenagers who must be seen in a different outfit every time they go out. They don't mind if something only lasts a few washes, because that's all they need it for.

            @pennypincher98:

As opposed to shops that actually make quality shit that lasts

You know that all this stuff is made in the same factories yeah?

            • +1

@1st-Amendment: Depends on what you mean. Yes some brands have dropped quality and made in similar factories. Bonds is a great example that comes to mind.

To say that quality of items in all shops is the same as fast fashion though either implies you haven't ever worn high quality or don't know how to discern the difference. I tend to levitate to the mid tiers I can trust that are not going to fall apart in less than a year.

You use clothes (hopefully) more than anything else you can buy on the planet. Doesn't make sense to me to pick the lowest option.

  • Both links go to the same tee.. am I tripping??

  • Shocking 5$ tees from Cotton On, nah…

  • bought a few t-shirts during a cashback promotion earlier this year. Two of them were crap quality. Shrunk by a size after one wash (didnt use a dryer). Really thin material as well.

    • that's hella sad fox

  • +1

They really dont have much stock of anything decent, but a few alright buys thanks OP

this is the most ozbargain thing I've seen today. where do we draw the line?

    • Cook99 gets my top Ozbargainer nomination for today.

If you do click and collect but don't want to pay the extra $3, you can just order $35 worth of items and then return the items once you collect them.

This is terrible advice; how would you like to have a business and people abuse your policies like that? When they stop accepting returns so easily, you're gonna be the one crying.

    • +4

As to almost everywhere else that doesn't charge a click and collect fee? The guy that owns it is worth over $1.6 billion USD.

I appreciate your attempt at trying to be oppressed on behalf of a major company chain, but they'll still accept returns. They're not going to change their business model and piss off their entire customer base because someone didn't want to pay $3 for a staff member to put something in a bag.

Yeah let's not normalise click and collect fees.

    • +2

it's cotton on, not some grassroots mum and pop joint down the road, they deserve to be rorted for charging a C&C fee and for underpaying their staff.

I'm not gonna do it but it doesn't bother me if someone else does

You're the same person that's getting a Turkish subscription for Netflix

      • Rarely look at people's comment history but this intrigued me enough to do so. In the same post they were taking advantage of the salary difference and then trying to guilt trip someone else saying they don't know how lucky they are to live in a country with higher salary. Height of hypocrisy.

It's still price discrimination based on perceived wealth.

      • You're the same person that's getting a Turkish subscription for Netflix

Haha you actually are the man

    • Any store that has a set amount you need to buy for free postage or returns - $100 - $200 etc, I always buy up to that level and then just return all the other items. It seems pretty normal to me, thought everyone did it.

  • -1

Shame it's just 1 style, I would of grabbed 3-4 different styles.

I ain't driving to Cotton On for 1 tee lol

    • they post, in the mail, for v cheap. . you're not familiar with this centuries year old practice?

  • I will never buy cotton on tshirts again. They disintegrate after like 3 washes. Spend your money elsewhere don't contribute to this fast fashion bs

    • -1

that's why they look good , thin authentic looking vintage, rather than paying $1000 for the OG …
yr a weirdo Jatacid.. stick to the rivers yr used to

  • I don't see the appeal in wearing a tent? I'm ripped. I lift. I want to show off my big muscles in a tight fitting shirt.

    • +3

What about when you wake up?

  • Misleading title, looking at this deal without realising there's only two styles (Metallica and Nirvana?) was a waste of time. Thanks anyway though.

  • Stacked with commbank rewards 10 off 50 spend to make it worthwhile. Thx op

  • Still waiting for my click and collect. Awful service.

  • Did anyone actually get these?

A month later… still nothing. Went on Live Chat and they're eager to refund me, not knowing if they'll be getting more in or not, and even though the store had/has it, they can't process it as it has to be shipped from the warehouse stock. Not impressed.
