Where to Get Crunchy Nut in Bulk?

The missus loves Crunchy Nut, and it became a substantial expense on the monthly grocery bill. So, I was wondering if anyone knows where to get this cereal in bulk? Wholesalers, catering shops, etc. tips are welcome.

How bulk is bulk? Amazon has the 380g for $2.93 each on S&S. You can order 6 boxes at a time. Additional 5% off if you buy $40 of select groceries.

If you need more than 2.3 KG at a time then maybe check if Costco stock it?

I love Crunchy Nut too but worth noting it's got a really high amount of sugar. I mix it half and half with Corn Flakes or something else to balance out. May want to suggest that and it'll reduce consumption and make it last longer.

    • What I am after is either 1-5 kg bags, or a 10-15x multipack of the 670g box.

Just ask in store for the diabetes size option.

Buy in bulk when it is half price, like at Woolies now. It will be cheaper than any wholesaler can get it for you.

    • Won't his Crunchy Nut be kinda stale by the time he gets to the last box? I bet fresh 'Nut tastes better.

      • If the bag is not open it should last a long time and still be fresh

From what I remember catering sizes were 1kg bags. But they weren’t bargain prices more that they were easier/less packaging for staff to add to cereal dispensers.

The current half price at Woolworths/amazon 380g 10 serve box. And wait for the larger boxes to be on sale for a better per gram price.

Last month the larger 18 serve box was $4.75 at coles

  • Cluster version is even better for me :) yes to buy in bulk when special.

Not getting enough other nut? haha.
How many boxes of it does she eat for it to become a 'substantial part of the grocery bill'?

  • Time to organise a pregnancy test? You know what they say about pregnant women developing odd dietary likes and dislikes.

  • Amazon US?

I heard they have oversized cereal boxes compared to AU.

Edit: Did you check local Costco?

BTW how I browse Amazon US is browse on Amazon.com then copy link up until .com/dp/A09JKLLN/ then add .au into the link. Sometimes it returns 404 but at the same time many things don't appear in Amazon AU search results even when ticking and sorting by Prime international.

  • Thanks all for the replies.
