Just ordered one of these as I hardly keep cash on me anymore. Looks good and seems cheaper than other available options. Fingers crossed.

I’m hanging out for a digital drivers license in Vic. Already have my digital medicare card and bank cards.

      • Is there a digital medicare card?

How about atm debit card to withdraw cash if need to?

        • +1

For that you will need the card

You don't need a card to withdraw cash from an ATM these days all you need is your Bank app here is an example of CommBank

Some banks offer withdrawals without the card using their app.

        • +1

Yep, through the Medicare app, though.

        • Some banks, like comm bank, offer card-less withdrawal

          • @freewhere: It's getting harder and harder to find CommBank ATMs around me though :(

Same goes for many of the Big4 which are feeless, I see a lot of ATMx or NextATM where they used to be. So I still carry a card in my bag just in case.

Looks quite nice and cheap. Its all about how durable the mechanism is on these cheap copies of the Ekster.

$8.49 with a flap (for cash)

Any chance you've been able to find one that has a coin compartment? Can't seem to find any =\

I use the Pularys raven. Has a small coin pouch, really good when you still use some cash to pay for things. Really high quality wallet although you do need to have it sent over since its not available locally.

Just look through the ones on Amazon. There are lots of variations on there.

Here's a Vulkit one. A bit of a compromise between conventional and pop up with coin section.

        • Thanks heaps for the recommendation, I'll check it out!

          • @organamisms: That was just one of the first I found. Keep looking as this is one of those things that has loads of manufacturers and models.

Damn, there goes.my plan to tap on people's wallets with my Square Terminal and steal all their money without them knowing and hoping they won't dispute the charge.

I wonder if.you.cannhet hat versions, the alfoil is a bit daggy.

  • You realise that you just need 2 cards with NFC and they will automatically block each other from being read?

That's why you can't just hold your wallet up to pay for stuff …

  • Its interesting to think what you need cash, particularly coins, for. Last thing I remember was parking meters, but they're app now. Scruffy bugger washing your windscreen?

    • Drugs, at least in my instance

      • Drugs with coins? You do know you can't get high on Whizz Fizz?

      • I just meant in general, what you need cash for - notes, drugs, coins, kinda annoying

  • Why is this a bargain?

    Isn’t this the regular price.

How is this a deal? It's RRP.
Cheaper than other options is not a deal.
    Sockpuppet?
