Come and celebrate OzBargain's 16th birthday!

Thought I'd get the ball rolling with more events in Melbourne. Keen to meet fellow OzBargainers and share some goods deals.

Time will be around 6pm but will be confirmed along with venue and the date will be between 18-20th of Nov - will give them a call today and pending availability .

Not sure on the cap yet but around 15-20 depending on the venue capacity and show of hands.

You can order a platter and drink there and there will be plenty of seating options but will need to see how many I can book. There is also the option to go vegetarian but I can ask if they cater to other dietary requirements.

Hopefully there will be T-shirts from scotty.

Update: Venue has changed to Meat Me
Update 2: We will be taking the same approach as the canleyvale event where by a $10 deposit will be required for a reservation and ozbargain will spot the remaining $45. I will start collecting payments now

    Tried calling them and they were not picking up nor do they have a valid email address so will probably see if meat me can accommodate and let you guys know how that goes today.

      Will be at Meat me and it is capped to 12 as anything over is on the set menu for $65pp. Will create a waiting list if we go over.

    Damn I literally live 5min walk from here but already have something that day at lunchtime.

    There's a number of greek places here I'm sure one could accommodate (although Sundays are quite busy in the Mall where they all are).

    Since this is going over the cap there is a chance that we will have to pay for the banquet price of $55 per head. I have spoken to @Scotty and looks like we will be taking the same approach as the canleyvale event where by a $10 deposit will be required for a reservation and ozbargain will spot the remaining $45.

    I will call to confirm this if we are going over 12 and let you guys know if this is possible. I will start collecting payments now and prioritise those that have voted early until it reaches the cap

        Unfortunately can’t order from the menu so will be banquet and number has been bumped up to 20!

        This means that you will have to pay me $10. Feel free to bring cash or payID me on the day

          Even though cap is raised. Im out. Why are they making everyone order from the banquet? Main meals are almost all half the price or better and actually seem better
