All pedals are copies or slight alterations of another pedal (see JHS on YouTube discuss this). If you think you are too good for this pedal then get a KLON. I'm sticking to the KLON clones with the same circuit but without the $10000 price tag.

I think Electro Harmonix did a pretty accurate copy with their Soul Food pedal. There is no soul shaking magic hiding inside a Klon.

Is it a $200 FX pedal? No. But for a musician on a budget they do some cool things.
I bought a few of them to try out. They aren't noisy, but they don't have signature character either. Very generic tool for the job, at a great price.
