    You can still use the Coles Mastercard. Once you add the card they will deduct $1, so you buy only $100 cards using one $250 card. The $1 will be returned back to you. I have used 2 different cards and bought 4 $100 cards in 4 transactions. Cashback recorded immediately for all 4 transactions.
    Note: Once you add the new Coles card you will have to login to mybalancenow website to get 4 digit card activation code.

      25 minutes later it hasn't appeared in mybalance but 4x$50 cards have been deducted.

      I doubt it, you can pay giftcard with giftcards at coles or woolies last I tried. Maybe buying bunnings gc, for some reason they activate alot differently to other gc at the checkout.

    Nice to see some Coles Gift Card offers. They are few and far between. At least they have the ability to add to Apple Wallet, considering there is no fancy way of using them like you can at Woolies.

          With other companies I have had it range from anything between 12 hours to 5 days. Its usually at least 24 hours as the CC company takes their sweet time finalising transactions.

    Bummer! Received the invoice and Cashrewards tracking for $100 purchase, but no GC was emailed. Called the number and was advised that there was a glitch at their end and the TR team will get onto it tomorrow as its COB today. Such a hassle for the so called 'offer'. I wonder if it relies on some people not following up and forgetting about their money? Not happy :(

      So frustrating. There's always something going wrong with gift card systems. Right now I can't use Coles Mastercards as others have done because the balance checking website I need to access to get the authorisation charge code is throwing an error. There's probably a better way of doing things than placing $1 hold charges.

      Are you getting an error when trying to add cards, or do the small pre-auth amounts not show on the card to verify it?
