I still wear a combo of Pakistan, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka 2015 World Cup hats that I picked up from Rebel in Hobart for $1 after the event. I get so many questions, mostly from security workers at shops, asking if I play for Pakistan or Sri Lanka. Yes this white guy does. I once gave a Sri Lanka hat to one security in Coburg Coles. He told me his name and that he was in the Sri Lanka A side and that he played with Vaas and Ranatunga in 1996. I looked him up on cricinfo and his story was correct.
I’ll wait until these are a dollar again I think.
