First Deal for me

Found this in the new products of PCCG, not sure if it's a pricing error. Much cheaper than i can find anywhere else. 32GB's of CL16 3200mhz memory for $99.

I was able to get shipping express for $15, really crazy deal.

I dunno how online sites get away with cancelling an order due to price error, when if you're in a store and you pick up a ticketed item, wrong or not, they must sell it to you for the lower price by law.
I ordered a 1tb WD black gen4×4 m.2 the other day for $109 delivered from shopping express. Turned out it was a pricing error but they honoured the order anyway. Other sites are not so giving….

I don’t think they have to sell it to you by law if it has the wrong price tag. Otherwise we’ll all head down to JB, grab a $9.99 sticker, and go and put it on a LG C2 83”

I believe it’s more that it’s up to the store if they intend to sell it at the discounted price or not.

It's not law. Law protects sellers against price errors.

Honouring the incorrect price is, for example, under a code of practice which is entirely optional.

If you are at a retailer that declares they work to a code of practice but are not actually meeting it then you can argue.

Eg: "Coles, Woolworths and Aldi have all signed up to the Scanning Code of Practice. This is a policy that means when an item scans at a higher price than the advertised standard shelf price, or if on sale, the yellow ticketed "sale" price, you get [one of] the item for free!"

  • Yep, got an email to cancel the order also. They probably have someone manually entering in this data, pretty bad error!

They may have honoured the price if you didn't post it on ozbargain haha

      • They wouldnt have.

        I had found a great deal @ https://wholesaleaircon.com.au/

was seriously good deal, was going to post it here if they had honored me that. They didn't instead wanted to charge me like $150 extra for Shipping+ full price of item. So yeah most business don't really give a f about price error honoring and posting on OZB wont really change much.
