  actually, what's better value - 3 collections of Battle of the Planets on DVD, or one and a half Dell Printer/Scanners ?

    I'd probably go for BotP because it will probably take ages for the blu rays (if they're out) to get to this price and once these dvds are gone they'll probably be hard to find. Printers are always around unless this one you've found is on special and you really need it soon.

  Not much here apart from what's mentioned by OP (from what I can tell anyway, the website isn't the most intuitive to browse…), might be handy if you're after a stray volume here or there. Odd that Baccano 1+Box, 2, 3 and 4 are all in stock but Vol 2+3 aren't discounted.

    Yep it's not the easiest site to navigate. It's been the same since at least 2008. :o I'm not sure why their specials are like that and not for every title in the series… maybe they are trying to clear out the ones they have too much stock of?

  I used to like Battle of the Planets, before I saw the original series Gatchaman. Now I can't watch BotP any more - I know how badly it's been butchered. Much of the violence and all of the dying has been taken out of the sanitized (BotP) version.

    Yeah, I was a bit disappointed by the BotP DVDs to be honest.

    Watching a bit on youtube for the nostalgia is awesome though.
