The Dreame eBay store had it for $399 on sale, and a 7% off code took it down to ~$370. It's back to $499 now though.
The S5 Max is a very well regarded machine.
@JR63: Do you know the difference between d9 and d9max? other than the suction? can't seem to find anything on Google
@iNeedMoreMoney: Only differences I could find was the extra 1000 pa suction, longer central brush with detachable ends (to remove hair) and some brush fibres in the suction tube area to supposedly stop tangles (which from the sounds of things doesn't work particularly effectively).
So overall nothing significant.
I have this and can recommend it.
