[QLD] OzBargain 16th Birthday - Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast on Deferred at Venue TBC

Update: Sorry, I let this slide so looking at 1st weekend of December pending interest.

It's OzBargain 16th Birthday and the event will likely be on the Saturday 19th or Sunday 20th of November at this point at either Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast. I'll make several comments below and like the place and date you would likely to attend.

There's already two other Brisbane events but they're at the beginning and end of the month. Last year's Brisbane event was well attended, and if there's an event closer to people it may help bring out more diverse OzBargainer's.

More details to come, and I'll update the post as we work the details out.

      Yes I was at Brisbane for the last year and it was maybe too packed? Although there is already two events but a few weeks apart this year so hard to say.

      In any case Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast have missed out in past years. This is also separated by a week from either. Plus it's the intention of OzBargain staff to have smaller split groups.

        Brissy was huge, it depends you might get ppl stuck between goldy and brissy come to both (aka me). I have no clue any good places on the goldy within budget.

    Im in Bruswick Heads, can head up to Goldy - but also interested in organising one here at the Ocean Shores Country Club, or Brunswick Hotel for those near Byron Area
