Recommend a screen protector fitter? (Melb)

Hey I don't trust myself to fit my new screen protector to my new phone… My hands are not at all steady, I have health issues.

I've had some bad experiences with random little shops fitting them in the past…

Have you used a shop that does a great job in Melbourne?

Please recommend :)

  • PTC in the entryway to QV mall are super good at it, I used to go Phone Exchange across the road from there but stopped because they were terrible at putting it on properly, which is weird to me that you'd have people working in a phone accessory store that aren't good at fitting them, but yeah PTC do a great job.

I've never gotten a store to install a screen protector that I didn't buy from them though, is that really an option?

  • Grab one of the Glas.TR EZFit protectors from Spigen, they have a plastic frame that helps you do the install, you really can't F it up. Just replaced two screen protectors over the weekend with them and both installs were perfect and super easy.

Just wipe the screen down, blow any remaining dust particles off with some compressed air if you have it, then slap the screen protector down with the installer frame.

Having the frame also makes it easy to take the protector film off the back of the screen protector while holding it facing down to avoid dust falling on it

  • Depends on the phone you have, some screen protectors come with pack for assisting in applying the protector. If its an iPhone, you can try apple store, they usually will put it on for you.

  • just buy a few cheap ones, keep trying until it fit.
