      What are the typical depth ratings and what do they mean?

      100metres is for snorkeling, watersports and recreational diving.

        Yeah recreational diving is fine. Deep sea diving is different story. Besides I think only a small percentage of people actually dive at that depth.

          From the article mentioned above:

          The numbering convention derives from its use on dive watches, but it absolutely does not mean you can submerge your watch to these depths, or anything close.

          100m doesn't mean it's going to be good at 100m depth.

            @Azro: when actually diving , you are moving the watch against water …this increases the pressure experienced by the watch vs static pressure at 100m for a stationary object …..

    Would have bought it but I just put in an aliexpress order for a 62MAS homage - Saved myself an extra $70 in coupons so I was pretty proud of my thriftiness.

        So I got the one that is on a steel bracelet and comes with a rubber band which drops to $151.76 with the sale. They have a coupon for $31.70 off if you spend $158 - So go collect that.

        Then buy the cheapest thing on the store which is a $20 "leather band"

        So thats $171.76 - less the $31.70 - Gives you $140.06

        then I applied the coupon "11PROMOS7" to get an extra $11.09 off

        So we're at $128.97

        Less some "Coins" collected via the APP

        Add GST

        Sh1t………at least I think thats what i did? lol - came to about $136 shipped including GST for a watch and 3 bands.

            Heres hoping its not too small for me. Ive got the SD1970 on now which seems like an alright size on me with a bit of "chunk" to it

    To me there's something cheap and tacky about "Eco-Drive" written across the watch face, otherwise a nice looking watch.
