After the popularity of my earlier post (for the older 2.5" SATA enclosures), I just had a chance to browse the Orico Store and found this one for M.2 NVMe SSDs with code for $18.09 delivered.

3 types available (most of us will be selecting the NVMe 10Gbps version that's listed).

Yes, Aliexpress will take a while for delivery, but like my previous posts, I always go for offical stores to reduce any issues.

  There are plenty of other products available that support BOTH NVMe and SATA SSDs. That saves having to have both sorts of external M.2 enclosures.

              @CyberMurning: They are different form factors, might as well just get a sata to usb 3 cable? Not real advantage to combining those I think.

      $25, and you don't have to wait for it to come from China. Or less if you are happy to wait.

      If I was buying another similar product I'd go for three features. Dual protocol - NVMe and SATA. A tool less case. And a transparent cover over the drive so I could see which SSD was in it. I couldn't find anything that had all three.

    Yep, but it depends on M-key or B-key (for sata or nvme), or one that supports both.
