Think of it as an investment. You'll hold onto the valuable cards until they are worthless…wait.

A great game. When I see prices like this, it makes me wonder how many millions these guys take in for just issuing new pieces of cardboard. Not to take away from the players, I know it’s enjoyment etc.
But just compared to developing video games, which cost real money compared to designing a card. I wish I came up with an idea like this!
I should see if my old cards are still worth anything!
This is nothing compared to some of the other sets they've released in recent years. Double Masters 2022 for example was 450ish for a 24 pack box and that was pretty much sold out everywhere. All reprints too so almost no design work either. WotC is absolutely milking it
Gamesmen have lots of MTG on sale as well if you have afterpay AFTOYS25 will get you 25% off. From experience you can use gift cards for most of it but leave about $10 of the balance remaining so you can use afterpay.
