I’ve found that basic model mechanical keyboards with genuine Cherry switches often exceed $100, hence why I think this is a good deal. Agreed that the RRP is ridiculous, but that can be an arbitrary figure with any retailer.

How so? I've found Cherry switches and Outemu switches to be of relatively equal quality.
IMO it’s the longevity. I bought a Kogan ‘board with Cherry Browns about 8 years ago and it’s still going strong today. Since I’d gifted that one to someone else I bought another with either Otemu or Kailh switches a couple years ago and it started skipping and double-typing within 12 months. I know it probably had warranty but couldn’t be bothered with the process, and other users echoed a similar experience.

Been this price for a few weeks now. I didn’t know enough about keyboards to know if it’s a good deal or not but and Kogan seems to talk BS about the regular price in general.
