    that's a pretty watch!

Appreciate the emphasis on the diameter - was very close to a trigger pull when I saw that (it would be a bit too big for my wrist)

    • +2

The lugs drop down & wrap around the wrist so it wears smaller.

    that blue is gorgeous

    • +1

I think it would look good on you.

Very nice looking watch, if only it was 38-42mm would pull the trigger

    • Just added the Seiko Auto SRPG33K which is 39.4mm.

  • that looks so nice. But 44mm is too big sigh.

  • I thought coke was red & black?

    • It is, check the second link.

      • My bad. I can't read.

I like the blue one, until I see the way the date overlaps the "3". Very weird design, more like afterthought.

holy crap you just ruined this watch for me. I cannot unsee that - $169 saved

    • Damn thats pretty poor placement for an otherwise nice looking watch.

    • Something I wish watch manufacturers would appreciate is, a date dial is not worth it if you have to butcher numbers on the dial.

    • +1

it doesn't overlap the 3 - it just fits in. If you took the date window away the 3 would still be whole. If anything, the terminal ends of the 3 have been made a bit longer to connect with the date window.

Great watch! I have the green one: https://i.imgur.com/nN06p4U.jpg

Very nice, what size is your wrist please?

      • +2

It varies between 6.5 and 7 inches. Right now it's 6.7in. Even at 6.5in I can wear Samurais, Tunas, Arnies, Turtles, Sumos no problem. Most important measurement is lug to lug (top to botton lugs). Biggest chunkiest watch I own is prob Sinn U1, and it fits fine becuase lug to lug is only about 50cm

Which is now also part of Click Frenzy event: https://starbuy.com.au/citizen-eco-drive-mens-watch-aw1718-8…
      for $169

      • Good price, you should post it!

  • Looks nice

  • They really love the 44mm at Citizen don’t they. Fine for me but not for everyone. Interesting design on the top model/link

  • But that date wheel location…

In case anybody watches the Italian review but does not understand italian:

    1) the date is in a strange position
    2) the strap is nice
    3) you cannot rotate the bezel, so he is asking what the point is then
    4) he is asking why is the 60 on the inside of the screen when all the other seconds are outside.
    5) the glow in the dark is not that impressive

I do not really speak Italian but I understand it. I have skipped a lot too, I may have missed things.
