Needing EB Games Discount Giftcards?

As the title suggests, I'm looking for EB games discount gift cards. Wanting to do some large purchases. Shopback is 4% but the max is $100 per card plus they are numeric egift cards with no barcode, which is comically inconvenient.

Thanks guys.

Giftz.com.au is selling Swap Entertainment gift cards at 11% off now. You can exchange a Swap Entertainment gift card for an EB Games digital gift card.

I’m not sure what the maximum denomination is for EB Games gift cards available via Swap, but it probably is larger than $100…

    • Thanks wookie, perhaps you can help me out on this matter - they state there is a 5k per order limit, with no per-person limits during the offer priod, however when I tried to purchase again it said you have exceeded the 24 hour limit (5k) so I waited 24 hours and it still said I had exceeded the limit when I tried to make another purchase, even though it had clearly been more than 24 hours since my last purchase.

      Cheers

      • Honestly, I have no idea! The most I have spent on that platform in one day is $500, so I have not had issues with order limits before. I have a couple of thoughts, but I'm really going to shoot from the hip here…:

        • Maybe you need to wait until the end of the next day before you can ? For example, if I place a $5,000 order now, I will need to wait until 00:01 on 10 Nov 2022 before I can place another order?

        • The Giftz servers could be running off UTC or a US timezone or something weird? Giftz is owned by Blackhawk Network (BHN), and BHN are primarily based in the US.

You could reach out to one of the BHN reps on OzBargain for extra assistance, although I don't know how active they are these days.

        • AustinBlack was helpful in the past, but it's been a while since they have last logged on.

        • James Hawk is a relatively new rep and seemed friendly, but they haven't even responded to my last comment…

Those are some intelligent thoughts, however I did wait until the next (full) day after, still didn't work strangely. Called them today, lady said she would call me back in 15 minutes with a solution, never did. Will give it another day but it's pretty urgent thats why I made the post.

Helpful input as always. Keep it up!

          • @ben5000: I'll be honest, the regular BHN customer service reps are generally hopeless in my experience, so the fact that you had some say they would call you back in 15 minutes is more than what I expected! The fact that they never got back to you sounds more like BHN lol.

I had a hard time getting a straight answer out of BHN as to why the version of the Swap Celebration gift card sold on Amazon is missing some retailers (e.g. eBay). It took three attempts before I got an answer: yes, there are two different versions of the Swap Celebration gift card.

If you are after physical cards. 10% back in Woolworths reward dollars. Starts tomorrow. A few of these cards include EB games in them as well as plenty of other retailers.

Lol ok. I knew i was a fool for attempting to assist, never again 😅
I guess this guy never has to buy food so supermarket money is pointless.
Personally i just use my Coles/Woolworths money to pay for fuel. With fuel at $40 a week currently it takes no time to use up. But everybody to their own i guess, i dont judge…🤔

To be fair, I have helped OP a few times before and it is quite apparent to me they need piles and piles of gift cards. They previously said they spend about $50,000 per month and are in the exports business, so their remark about "outside of normal household usage" probably makes more sense…

Flybuys and Everyday Rewards probably wouldn't be too happy if they had a customer spend anywhere near that much each month on gift cards, and they probably would use it as an excuse to shut OP's account down or not award any points, so I'm not surprised OP wants to stay away from bonus points deals.

@WookieMonster: Flybuys are currently refusing to communicate with me and not sending my a new replacement card after almost 2 months, because I have too many flybuys dollars. All these rewards programs eventually get sick of the big spenders and screw them over somehow.

    • That is a worthy suggestion, and I spend $150 per week on fuel so it's worthwhile but the reality is it's a dodgy offer with many reports of extremely delayed points plus they reserve the right not to award the points. A straight 10% off, I would be happy to empty the shelves. But this one I'll have to pass. I appreciate the suggestion.

      • It is so much better when the points are instantly credited at the checkout, but keep in mind that Everyday Rewards reserve the right to shut down your account or restrict your account for basically any reason.

It was a right-royal 💩show for me to get bonus points from one of the two $500 Ultimate gift cards from the last deal credited to my Everyday Rewards account. It took 17 business days, one live-chat session and two phone calls before it was finally sorted out (and on the second phone call, I made sure to sound grumpy and I even threatened a chargeback if the points were not manually credited on the day the rep on the second phone call assured they would be credited). I'd hate to imagine what it would be like when there are many more transactions to chase up…

        • That's completely ridiculous, and exactly why I feel the way that I do about those silly bonus points promos. Waste of time and energy.
