If you prefer straight % off, ALDI has 10% off Ultimate Him, Her, Home, Kids & Teens Gift Cards from 23/11/22 to 26/11/22.

But you have to queue and not guarantee that you'll have those at the end?

  • Another one. There must be good business in this scheme.

  • Where does him card refers to EB games? Can't locate on your link.

    • 6th row - Between adidas and JD

      • Got it thanks

    • Seems now The Ultimate Kids, Teens, Him and Everyone can be redeemed in EB Games, besides Students per original cards.

Still didn’t receive my reward points for the Uber GC on the 26/10, was told to wait for 3 weeks (14 business days)

    • Still nothing here for the TCN cards I bought on 27/10. Calling them again on Thursday if still no points (think I was told 2 weeks).

      • I thought the reward points were given on the spot?.

        • They were on the previous day that I bought them, but not the following day for some reason, even though I didn't buy more than 10 and was the first transaction of the day.

          • +1

@MiscOzB: From past purchases, rewards points are immediately shown on the screen. Only make a payment if you are getting the points.

            • @Ash-Say: The game has changed!

              • @DrRalph: I haven't purchased for a while so may have been changed.

        • Used to be. But now 14 days+ is becoming common.

    • I contacted Rewards Customer Support team after "14 business days" regarding my missing points from last month. There's a "technical bug" in their system which is known to them. They filled out a form and told me I should see the points by EoD. And voila! Points were there as a Manual credit.
Now I'm missing points from Apple gift cards I purchased yesterday.

Honestly it was way too much effort to wait as the chat bot was not transferring to any human representatives and had to wait for around 30 mins in call waiting during business hours before getting connected. But their team is super fast and should be able to resolve this issue. Keep the exact date and transaction amount handy for quick resolution.

And I guess everyone should keep an eye on their points now as a lot of them are not getting credited and there's no telling if they're gonna credit the missing ones by themselves in the future.

      Cheers!

  • Could we buy this with Coles Mastercard?

    • +1

      Yes.

      • I'll get some $500 ultimate home

        • Not sure if you can split payment with 2 of the $250 cards, but someone said you can in the previous deal (split payment with the Coles Prepaid Mastercards that is).

          • @MiscOzB: I think I can, I did split payment many times in woolies, it is unrestricted

            • @ivyholmes: I can't pay it through with multiple payments with prepaid card

    • It may not work this time round. As in using the card to buy gift card.

  • Are these like prepaid visa? Can I use them online?

    • There are prepaid visa card but usually not included in this kind of promotions.

  • Any way to get a live balance in the Apple wallet? I have to log into a virtual prepaid centre to see actual balance remaining.

  • Still didn't get all my points from the last Woolworth promo. Have to call them again.

  • What’s the highest amount on a card I can buy for jbhifi ?

    • $500 each

  • +10

based on past experiences on how difficult it is to get rewards points (you have to chase it up yourself), have to neg this deal.

Moderators should also start putting up these kinds of warnings on the top of the threads because all it does is give the website a bad rep.

Make no mistake, they are fully aware of this and are doing nothing to solve the issue.

    • +2

Well said. No one should be buying this crappy offer. They also write in fine print on this offer that they reserve the right to not award points to any gift card quantity they deem 'outside of normal household usage'. It's basically a scam. Wait for the next straight 10% off.

    • I know they rotate which cards, but I feel like these are posted every week too… not really a deal, more like a… recurring offer.

    • We should report them to current affair

  • -1

Can I used it at Harvey Norman?

    • +3

Check the table of participating retailers in OP’s description
      Short answer - No

  • If I'm using my monthly 10% off on my shop will it work on these? Double dipping?

    • +2

doesn't work on gift cards only for your groceries

  • Is there a limit to the amount of $/cards one can buy? Coles I noticed has a $500 / 10000 fly buy points "limit".

    • Limit of 10 cards per transaction and one transaction per day per Rewards Member.

  • Points chasing is becoming a norm now. Earlier it was straight at the time of purchase but now take few calls/chat time and 14 days. I got mine points earlier this week from last deal. Have to pass - not worth a hassle. Otherwise thinking of trying at the counter if points show credited straightway otherwise cancel

  • Don’t buy giftcard from Woolworths, still chasing with them(bought the restaurant giftcard in October, 20x points promotion, still haven’t received my points, called multiple times already…)

Sorry I have to neg this deal.

    • 30 minutes on the phone. No online chat. Not a good deal if you value your time.

      • Yes, wasted my time…

        • it is so strange, ive got the EDR points from the restaurant card straight away.. Although I only bought 5 cards × $100

          • @ivyholmes: I got my points from the ultimate giftcards a couple of weeks ago straight away as well.

            • @Frozensage: From my experience, variable gift cards have issues with points allocation. Fixed value cards seem to be rewarded immediately.

      • Speakerphone! Just use your laptop or watch tv whilst you wait.

Google Pixel has Hold for Me where there is no sound until the pixel recognises a human talking and then chimes to alert you as well.

  • What's the go with TGG and limit of gift cards per purchase? Was reading online has a limit of 2 and in store 5?

Does Ultimate Home have a $500 option?

  • Bought some but points were not allocated on the spot. 14 days wait will likely apply.

    • Same here. Used to get points straight away, until today…

  • They say they can't sell 10x $500 in one transaction. Limit they can put through per transaction is just $1000. Does this sound correct?

    Silly promotion if so…

    • that's wrong, but if you go through self check out should be easier. As staffed check out with EFTPOS over $1000 needs service manager to approve the transaction, not every supervisors can do it.

    • I've bought 6x$500 in one go just depends who you get putting it through

Lady literally had to be my personal self serve check out as they had to enter 500 for every card and swipe their barcode thing

  • +1

got two 500 cards this morning, no points.. so annoying..

    • Sorry to hear. You are trapped. I plan to buy, but now abandon.

    • Me neither! no points for 2x$500

  • Bought $100 ultimate Him and got poinys straight away, it displayed the 'youve saved $10 off a future shop' message as soon as I scanned EDR.

Confirmed points in the account straight away

  • +1

Bought a $100 variable earlier today, no additional points awarded.

  • @ UGC Kids, Teens and Home - Can anyone please confirm if they are succesful in using it at office works as physical card does not show OW as retailer on Woolis card but on ultimate gift card website it shows Teens, Kids and Home has OW.

Dont want to risk $1500 for Iphone purchased from OW.
    TIA

    • +1

Used 2 * $100 Home at Officeworks today. The physical cards just seem to be old prints.

    • Confirmed

      • +1

Thanks i have also used Home card at ow and it worked.

  • Can these cards be used for jb hifi online?
    Thanks

  • +1

I bought 1x $100 ultimate home, recieved points straight away. Then i bought 1x $500 ultimate home and didn't get any points. The woolies staff assured me that i will get it as it is advertised on their catalogue. I will just have to contact them (very annoying).
I then bought 9 x $100 ultimate home gc with some groceries, thinking i will get points for these straight away. Shockingly didn't get any points for these. It seems the points are only added if $100 gc are purchased in a separate tranaaction.

    • Limit of 10 cards per transaction and one transaction per day per Rewards Member.

      You may be trapped unfortunately.

The golden rule now is: don't pay for them if no bonus pts show on the screen.

      • 'The golden rule now is: don't pay for them if no bonus pts show on the screen.' This strategy will not work any longer.

        • -1

People have said that bonus pts were credited instantly for the 1st purchase of set value ones.

    • "if $100 gc are purchased in a separate tranaaction."

      No. Not for me.

      • -1

You bought a variable load $100.

        • Yes. Plus multiple additional $100cards later today.
No points posted for any card.

    • +1

      I bought 2x $500 Ultimate Home, I didn't get points. So annoying!

  • How much points can we get for Ultimate $500 transaction?

    • 10,000 Everyday Rewards points, which is equivalent to:

      • $50 in Everyday Rewards Dollars, or
      • 5,000 Qantas points
  • Yesterday went to my local Woolies and didn’t allow me to purchase more than one gift card. I bought a $100 ultimate home gift card and also have 0 points.

  • How can you use these cards to purchase online if you have multiple ultimate cards with jbhifi?

    • +1

      Read this comment.

(Yes, the linked comment refers to Ultimate eGift Cards, but it also applies to physical Ultimate gift cards.)

      • I tried doing that unfortunately the order got cancelled.

        • I bought online at JBHifi yesterday, it worked! But my order was only $70 so, if your order in a bigger number then. You need to follow multiple steps

          • @ivyholmes: I had to call them to verify the transaction for each gift card as it was $500

  • @WookieMonster do you know if its possible to redeem the giftcards in the Officeworks website as well? (Same as we do for apple / JB ones).

    • Yes

      • f#ck thats good. But i didn't find this option in the officeworks website :( lol

          • @BennyHe2018: yep, i know i can use it at officeworks. But it seems is store only… i was trying to get an iphone 14 but just sold out :(

        • You redeem an Ultimate gift card on the Officeworks website in the same section of the online checkout where you would redeem a debit or credit card.

          • @WookieMonster: I couldnt find this option in the check out. There is only credit/debit cards, union pay, paypall, afterpay, flypay, zippay and open pay. It doesnt mention the gift card option… and unfurtunally its already sold out :( now i gotta find where to buy it

            • @caiotonon: You need to enter the Ultimate gift card's card number, expiry date and CVV2 into the credit/debit card section of the Officeworks online checkout.

That means you can only redeem one Ultimate gift card at Officeworks per online transaction, so you would not have been able to purchase the iPhone 14 online at Officeworks.

  • Bought ultimate eats but not able to use online in any of the supporting partners. Tried with Nando’s app and Menulog app. What am I doing wrong?

    • Nandos in store only

Menulog you use it like a credit credit but the full amount needs to be available on the card

  • +1

oh here we go 14 days waiting game again

    • The golden rule now is: don't pay for them if no bonus pts show on the screen.

During the 14 days or more, other places already offer the same if not better deals.

      • I wonder if it is for variable load or all of them if points don't show up

  • So I bought 3 x $500 ultimate kids for
Jbhifi. Paid each one separately. No points at all

    • I bought again today, 2x$500, 0 point. Crazy!
