The quality is not good at all. I ordered one in the last deal and inside the mug there is a big black mark of ink. Not recommended!
What are the image dimensions for the photo mugs?
I ordered a mug from the last deal, the detail was pretty good in the photos. I don't remember the exact dimensions of the image but it wrapped around 3/4 of the mug.
On their website they have a tool which allows you to place your photos in to see what will appear on the mug. I fit 3 photos cropped to different extents on my mug.
I know this doesn't specifically answer your question however hopefully the tool will help
No problem with the image at all. The black ink mark is inside the mug side.
I got one from their last 'deal'. I was happy with the print quality(resolution and colour) but was a bit disappointed with their positioning or centering. My design is a 2 colour logo on opposite sides.
What I did was use their online placement tool and did a screenshot of the boundary box and used that to create a template in Illustrator. It turned out to be about 1900x800. When I imported my file it was perfectly lined up. The preview looked perfect too but the actual cup is off. I or they didn't account for the handle and surrounding area where they can't print.
So when I hold the cup with my right hand, the logo is perfect vertically but its too far to the left. The gap between the handle is a lot wider then opposite the handle.
Almost bought one, love your work
For some $2.80 worth the hassle not going to shop where have look for car spot the have it scratched by shoppers trolley. And cost of fuel….
