[PC] Humble Choice 1-Year Subscription $133 (Ongoing $179 Per Year) New and Lapsed Customers Only @ Humble Bundle

81
HOLIDAY22

I got an email about this because my sub had expired and resigned up for $133 for the year ~$11 a month instead of $17.
It seems you can also gift the yearly sub to extend your current sub i have read which is a great deal for people who use Humble regularly.

Many people say humble has dropped in quality but for slightly over $1 a game per month in my eyes its still great value.
You can also pause month to month if you don't like the offering and extend your 12 months longer.

When subbing make sure to click annual and enter the code "HOLIDAY22" when asked for coupon code.

My approach to Humble bundle these days is less about value than the time available to play all these games. Epic are giving away free games every week and Game pass and PS+ are not that expensive either.

Personally I can't justify paying anything for any game now when I have close to a hundred top notch games in my backlog already.

I'm almost looking forward to my PS+ subscription ending soon because at least my backlog will shrink a little then.

  • I would be wary of gifting to yourself. It doesn't always work for whatever reason…

  • To paraphrase Norm MacDonald - "Merry Christmas….hope you like crap!"

    • Man was also a compulsive gambler so Humble Choice is made for him.

2/12 months have good games, save your money.

  • Figures this would happen like 3 weeks after i finally paid for a year sub for the first time ever after being on monthly for all these years…

    • The offer seems early this year. A few times they have done something like this it has been in December. (I think. At least my first ever subscription started on an offer in Dec a few years ago)

When they started faffing around with it a year or two(?) ago, it was a nice, timely reminder for me to unsubscribe. There have been one or two (maybe three) months I've been tempted by since then via promo emails, but I've just never gotten around to subbing even for those single months. Basically I forget due to work, and then realise again after the month is gone - and life goes on.
As B3 said - too much in the backlog to play before I die across too many platforms to care about a random bunch of games each month that have maybe 1 or 2 things I'd like that I tend to already own due to sales on one platform or another….
