This deal was on last month for $10 less, but with the ZIP ipad deals recently there'll probably be some new ipad owners looking for a keyboard.
This seems to be the best accessory for keyboard, trackpad and protection - even considering Apple's own keyboard case from many reviews.
I pulled the trigger instead of price beating at officeworks because there's not much stock around and I couldn't be bothered.
Still selling for for $299 at jb and officeworks.

Also, the logitech website lists this product code as compatible with the new gen M2 ipads even though the listing hasn't updated on amazon yet.

I got from eBay $152.15 with the ZipPay promo code, but not enough quantity warrant for a post (sold out too anyway). https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/265389153137

    • There are other sellers too, not that hard to get it cheaper. Even coupon will apply to private listings.

Amazon is shipping the recently revised 2022 version which may not be the case with Ebay sellers. The 2021 model is prone to this issue.

        • As they say, the real answers are in the comments. How can you tell which model it is from the listing?

          • @Loracks: You can't unfortunately, but @bigbadboogieman was able to confirm he received the updated model from Amazon recently. Only Apple has updated their product images so far.

            • @pjsum: Thanks for that. Though I guess with Amazon you can never be sure. I'll keep my order despite other options mentioned here and report back when mine arrives.

              • @Loracks: No worries - mine has just been delivered (MELB) and I also received the 2022 model :)

                • @pjsum: Was your box sealed? Because mine was not

@Loracks: No the boxes don't come sealed, same as when buying it instore. It should have a clear plastic tab around camera hole though.

@pjsum: It had pen ink on one of the keys and looked like a bend/dint in the cover. Getting a replacement

  • Can confirm! Works on M2 ipad without a hitch and it is a solid product.

  • weighs too much even with just stand and takes up too much room

  • I have the 12.9” version of this. Highly recommended. It’s amazing. Went from Apple official keyboard to this and couldn’t be happier about it.

  • My only reservation about this is that because it uses the iPad Smart Connector you can't use the keyboard unless it's attached. For that reason I got Zagg Keys Pro. Obviously that means it needs to be charged, etc. but swings and roundabouts…

  • Anything for ipad air 4?

It goes down to $199 fairly often: https://au.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B09FFCQLG9

      • Awesome, Thanks for this. Hopefully drops in time for Christmas 🙂

Apart from the camera looking silly, I believe the iPad Air 4/5 can use cases for the iPad Pro 11.

      • How does the camera look silly?

        • +1

The Pro has a bigger camera array whereas the Air has a single lens. So a Pro case on an Air leaves a tiny camera lens in an overly large square cutout.

This is a great keyboard and case, here are some of my thoughts in case someone is considering this vs. the official Apple Magic Keyboard:

    • Without the keyboard, this doubles as a case for your iPad. The Magic Keyboard leaves you with a naked iPad
    • With or without the keyboard, you can use the kickstand for viewing content or putting the iPad at a slight angle for writing/drawing
    • Bit harder to clean than the Magic Keyboard, so don't go spilling coffee all over it like I did
    • You don't get the additional port like you do with the Magic Keyboard (which lets you charge from the keyboard and use the iPad's port for accessories - very cool)
    • On a table or lap, this takes up significantly more space than the Magic Keyboard - can be annoying at a cafe or on a plane, public transport etc

Also, comparing to other keyboard cases, this doesn't rely on Bluetooth for connectivity, so (1) doesn't have a battery or require charging, and (2) connects and stays connected without issues (unless the ports/connectors are dirty/damaged etc).

Highly recommended at this price point.

Also Logitech are amazing with warranty - my case warped and they were very happy to replace it with very few questions asked.

  • It is still available on eBay for $189
