The Fujifilm X-T5 Body - Silver features a fifth-generation back-illuminated 40.2MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor combined with the high-speed X-Processor 5 image processing engine. Advanced features include 5-axis in-body image stabilisation of up to 7.0 stops. Its new compact body is smaller and lighter than the previous X-T4 model making the X-T5 the new standard camera for still photography with superior performance and mobility.

Performance enhancements achieved in the new X-T5 include: ISO 125 as standard sensitivity, 1/180,000 sec fastest shutter speed, the use of Pxel Shift Multi-Shot to expand photographic variations, Smooth Skin Effect, Subject Detection AF capable of detecting; animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, plans and trains, plus AI-based high-precision auto white balance.

The Fuji X-T5 inherits the X-T series signature center viewfinder style and design, with a new 1.84-million-dot three-way tilting LCD screen making it more comfortable than ever to shoot in vertical position or from waist level. While the the body itself weighs in at only 557g making the camera overall lighter than the previous X-T4. Other features that add to the X-T5 shooting experience include the ability to record 10-bit 4:2:2 video at 6.2K/30P, a 3.69-million-dot EVF with 0.8x viewfinder magnification and dual SD-card slots.

    I'll hold until it's around $2,400… X-H2 was recently around $2,400 and I think X-T5 will follow soon… Would be somewhere on eBay most likely, but occasionally on digiDirect website we can get that price too… Also consider maybe there will be cashback events near the end of the year like Canon is doing now…
