    It might be that the whole lid of the laptop is replaced, as all the antennas for the 3G stuff would be up there. It could make sense to have a 'good top' and a 'bad top' of the notebook to lower manufacturing costs?

      the whole lid change is alright, that's for upgrading to WXGA+ and few antenna built-in
      but why FORCE your buyer to buy the $110 WWAN card?

  I'm not seeing "office home and student" included in this.
  Also, it could mean it is pre-installed for convenience, but does not come with a license. They often do that.

  edit: that's without the Office
  with office, & Gen 2 i5 it is $587

  This is a great deal if you need Microsoft Office Home & Business (as a relative of mine did). If you can get Office cheaply through your uni/school etc, then it's not for you.
