Thanks OP. Ordered a trampoline for Santa. $65 for the tent add on as well which my son will love.

      Ordered a trampoline for Santa

Santa is usually the one handing out the gifts, but I'm sure he'll love it!

      • Santa's loan interest rates have skyrocketed. He needs a little help this year.

Great product, we got the Ultra a couple of years ago and it has provided hundreds of hours of entertainment. Sprinkler underneath works a treat in summertime!

    • +1

Same here. Soaker hose hung up around the top on the inside works a treat as well.

    • +1

      I think it’s TRAMAMPOLINE!

      • It's both technically

  • +1

Had to put one of these together last year. Surprisingly bad design. Doesn't fit well, etc.

And that's before any of the springs vs no spring issues.

    • +10

I’ve put mine together twice now (moved house) and had no issues. Completely opposite experience. It hasn’t skipped a beat either!

      • Agreed. Real easy to put together. Quality product.

      • Same - can't complain at all. I even take the side poles & roof down on windy days.

      • Nice one, we’re moving house at the end of the year and was not looking forward to this process!

    • Please elaborate, Flair or Ultra?

      • We got the Ultra XL and it has been great. It's coming up to 3 years old and still in really good condition.

        • Cannot find the difference b/w Flare and Ultra. Can anyone assist please?

          • +1

@NeverMissABargain: Well, at the least the warranty is different for each. Ultra has longer. Presumably this means it's a bit better build quality.

          • +2

@NeverMissABargain: They are very similar. The Ultra is a little more premium. The Ultra upper pole foams have a cover which looks neater and makes them last longer, whereas the Flare upper pole foams are just bare foam. The Ultra has springs that attach over and under, whereas the Flare springs attach all on top (over).

After moving one of each recently the fitment on the Ultra was much more sturdy - the base fit quite snugly into the T-bar. The Flare by comparison is quite loose.

The Flare sunshade is just a flat piece of shade cloth, the Ultra shade comes down and over the sides. I think you can get the tent add on for the Ultra too, but not available for the Flare (subject to verification).

If I had my time again I’d have bought the Ultra….. and also not paid full price in early 2020 at the start of COVID. 😢

            That’s my experience anyway.

            • +1

@Cyan9: Thanks for sharing comprehensive review - much appreciated!

Don't worry about the price and consider the amount of fun n smiles (if it helps). Cheers

      • Flare was the janky experience for us.

    • We had huge issues with a Vuly swing set. Parts that didn't fit, joins welded backwards, holes in the wrong places etc. Vuly sent out replacement parts quickly enough but it was the worst assembly we've ever had to do, and we've done a lot of them over the years.

      • Same experience here

    • Agree. Spent over $5k on Vuly products trying to ‘buy once, cry once’. They had so many replacement parts under warranty that I’m actually shocked. The cubby house on our swing set perished from the sun in 3 months. Overpriced junk and a major regret for me.

    • Some people were'nt meant to have a trampoline.

  • +7

Thanks OP - Jumped on this one

  • +3

No deal, this is just the normal price as of late. Still a good buy, looking forward to setting up our large Ultra in the next few weeks.

  • +1

    Anyone used these inside?

    • Can confirm I've seen one inside a house walking to train station. One of those wtf moments.

  • +2

Seems like a good deal but need to spend an extra $75 for the ladder? Hmm…

  • They had the exact same sale last week which was supposedly ending last Friday, almost got sucked in to buying it before it ended but then I found Jumpflex. Now can't decide between the Vuly Ultra M or Jumpflex Flex100? Jumpflex a bit more expensive but comes with more accessories right now plus lifetime warranty.

    • They do run several sales campaigns during the year but $449 is the lowest they go for Flair M. Other times it’s $499.

      • Usually comes with the ladder tho.

    • They have sales 24/7, they are 1 of those companies. We went the Jumpflex last year and couldn't be happy with it, had watched them for quite some time and black Friday was their best sale for the year. Tramp is holding up really well so far, kids love it.

  • Bought vuly flare M 2 years ago for 499, still working perfectly, no loose parts, burnt mesh, nor color fade. Would definitely recommend.

  • +3

Vuly really is the best. Well worth the money if you care about lasting quality. I bought a Vuly trampoline for my then 15 yr old son. He's a big boy, too. He could jump for 45mins at high speed- lol. We had the 6ft. net and he jumped so hard that his bum was above the top of the net! I almost dug a hole underneath because I thought he'd hit the ground and smash his ankles. He never did, but I checked how close he got. Had to sell due to no space at the next rental (years ago).

That thing lasted TWO YEARS before we sold it to a friend with little ones, and it was still in great shape. Don't buy Kmart/BigW junk (waste of hard-earned $$$).

    :)

  • I almost went blind and got a bruised sternum putting one of these together. I’ve had uni students (Airtasker) and a professional trampoline installer have dramas with assembling my unit. Maybe mine was just dodgy.

    • +3

What qualifications did the professional trampoline installer have?!

      • It’s a trade you know

      • +2

Definition: engaged in a specified activity as one's main paid occupation rather than as a pastime.

  • Mixed reports on this brand. We have had absolutely nothing but troubles, fits so badly that it wasnt safe and could not be fixed by replacing parts. Others have reported they're great. Its a good price but buyer beware.

    • Which model?

      • Flare

        • thanks

        • Ditto

  • +1

Not sure about reports of being hard to assemble. There are specific instructions on how to do it properly. Not saying others haven't, but in the case of a trampoline, you need to be 100% on the assembly. We took ours down and reassembled 3 times- no issues. FYI & not a dig at those with problems, just imho.

  • all the reports of poor assembly and issues — be interested to understand which model(s)

    • Mine was years ago, so probably have changed models by then. Ours was a 14 ft with net, ladder, & pads. 2 years after the original, and due to extreme jumping, I had to replace the mat & springs, but that was on us, for sure.

PS: I know some do, but I would never buy a trampoline w/o net and pads. My kid's friends were forwarned NOT to touch the net or they'd get kicked right off (when not jumping, they'd lean hard into it and nearly rip/pop it off the frame!).

    • Issue was not the assembly but part quality control. Only Flare, haven't heard negative things about Thunder.

  • Which one is best, Spring vs springless?
Minimum age for trampoline? Is it 6years old?

    Thanks

    • Pretty much can get a 18 month toddler a thunder
Had 20month toddler on ours running in circles and kicking balls for a hour.

  • +1

Bought the Vuly Thunder Large version a couple of weeks ago for the same deal. Vuly have been running specials over the last couple of months which have been very similar. I got an installer to install the trampoline as I have heard that they are difficult to put together.
Since the installation the kids have been on it non stop. They can't get enough of it. It's a solid build and the materials look like a very good quality. I am expecting this to last for years to come and to get a solid workout.

    • +5

In summer, if you have the net and some little ones, a sprinkler and dish soap or laundry liquid make a slip-n-slide that's wicked. I did this at the start of summer so they'd clean it as they played. You do have to be sure to rinse it after, but it's fun.

Another good kids' game: toss in a beach or other inflatable ball. You have to jump w/o letting it hit you. Lol.

  • +2

This is another company that is permenantly on sale dont buy anything with out asking them if they have a bigger discount soon…. or better yet buy elsewhere

  • It's almost always a similar price if you factor in the accessories that you want or don't want. If you only want the shade then this is about as cheap as they get from my research.

  • Going on last year you don't get a better price for trampolines from Vuly, Jumpflex and Spring free than Black Friday.

  • Got the Flare, about 15 months old. A few of the T joiners have started to break/snap.

Literally put through a warranty claim this morning.

Replacing these will mean I will have to dismantle most of the trampoline. FML.

    • +1

I went through that multiple times trying to address the issues with ours before eventually giving up. It is actually possible to replace the T joint without dismantling, but you do need to take off the springs (4-5) either side.

  • Had the Vuly Lift large for 3 years. Need a new shade cover as original deteriorated after 12 months. They asking $279 which is kinda pricey in my opinion given they don’t last.

    • +1

We've had our shade cover on for almost 3 years and it's still perfect. I do remember reading that they changed what they were made out of to increase durability so perhaps ours is one of the newer ones.

      • I must have had the old version. Good to know it’s improved. Great addition for summer in Vic, I think I’ll just have to spend the cash.

    • +1

Mine is now 12 months old and still looks brand new. Gets a full day of sun and I live in QLD… so maybe they made them better recently.

Also, login to your account and go to the “spare parts” section. It should only be $140 as existing customers get spares for half price.

      • Brilliant I’ll check it out.

  • How well these (or any trampoline) last will also depend on what state you're in.
Despite being based in QLD, I don't think these last in the Qld sun.

Had one a few years back, the shade canopy disintegrated in a few months, within 18 months the foam padding was trashed and the kids got covered in powder and fine grit when they used it because everything was disintegrating.

Given the design, they're reasonable safe, but if you're in QLD dont expect it to last 2 years without replacing half of it.

    • I live in QLD. 3 years old and still going strong

    • It says on the instructions to take the canopy down when not in use. This could be your issue.

      • +1

        No ones ever doing that

    • Im in darwin and it gets 8 months of sun and 4 months of rain. Had ours 12 months and still looks the same as when we set it up.

      • Good to know @DarwinBoy , i was wondering how they cope up here!

  • +6

    • Thanks for sharing. Code has worked just now.

  • Meh, RRP.

    Vuly Ultra:
    22 June 2021: $849
    Today: $874 (with ladder)

  • +1

We have a vuly ultra XL and I cannot fault it. It was easy to put together, looks good as new after nearly a year in full sunlight.

We got the shade thing for the roof for free and it has all held up well. We had two minor manufacturing faults we noticed upon installation and vuly aftercare help were great and sent us replacements so now we have spares for a few years down the line.

The only disappointing thing is when you spend big $$ on something only to pay more for extras like the ladder and ground anchors etc.

But still well worth the money over Kmart junk - and the fact that you get discounted replacement parts for life is great. Many items are only as good as their weakest part and nothing infuriates me more than throwing away something otherwise good because one part is broken and It renders it unusable

  • +1

We've had a vuly trampoline for 10 years. Used every day and still going strong. Our neighbours had a kmart tramp which lasted one year before it fell apart. Highly recommend them!

  • Ive got an XL. Suggest you build it where you want to use it. PITA to move it once all together.

  • how does it compare to Springfree?

  • I bought the ultra M for $699 with ladder, shade and water misting attachment

  • +1

Looking to buy ultra but not sure if I should go S or M. How many kids can fit in S and how many will in M. Don’t wanna take too much space so smaller the better but at the same time I don’t wanna spoil the fun.

    • Buy the biggest one that will fit your space. They will grow into it!

  • +1

Our experience with Vuly has been up and down. We bought the Lift Medium. I found putting it together to be pretty straightforward (although not quick), the instructions and the tool/gloves they provided were pretty good.

That said, the sunshade we received didn't have the required toggles on it to fit it. Took a couple of weeks and constant phone calls with support to get a replacement. Once we had it though, went on pretty easily.

Kids loved it, but our experience is that they really aren't designed to withstand the Australian sun. We're in mid-latitude NSW and reasonably close to the coast, and we've had to replace the sunshade every year (sun weakens it, then a few stiff breezes will shred it), the skirting every two (it's double sided so when it gets cracked on one side you can just flip it over and turn it around and get another year out of it) and the mesh screen has been replaced once in three years.

Overall we've been pretty happy with it, the kids still love it, and its relatively maintenance free.

  • Almost jumped at this deal, although now I am looking at an 8 x 12 oval tramploline to fit an odd space from oz trampolines

    https://www.oztrampolines.com.au/trampolines-detail/8x12ft-o…

Has anyone bought from them? It claims to have a 200kg weight limit

  • So I had a call from Vuly today saying they "Had seen I was interested in buying one of their Trampolines" and if I needed any help. Kind of off putting. Anyone else had the same?

    • How did they get your number?

      • I was signed in at the time so I guess they used my phone number I gave when I signed up. So nothing nefarious but it was still weird for a company to call me just because I looked at their product. Well, I guess this is the future.

  • +1

Harvey Norman has the same price for Vuly trampolines but will throw in 10% in gift cards today

    • Thanks but no free shade it seems. Ultra Small is not discounted for some reason (showing $949 instead of $499).

      • It did come with the free shade cover

  • Thanks OP. Ordered the Ultra S with free shade, speaker plus discounted $50 tent wall. All for $549!

  • Is the most worth buying?

Also, we have to put it onto grass, so would you recommend the wheels? Buying an XL so the wheels cost a few hundred, so want to check first as I'll definitely need to mow the grass.

Finally, with the shade on, doesn't it stop the kids from bouncing too high or is it not an issue?

Sale still going as Vuly has now switched to Cyber Monday sale!
