Going US 1st Dec, but Can I Get My Items Shipped Prior - to My Hotel ?

I want to go hard on the Amazon Black Friday sales. Unfortunately, I’ll be landing in US 5 days after Black Friday.

Is it safe to get my items shipped to my hotel prior to checking in?

I called my hotel it’s a Hilton resort. They said it’s totally fine, but I am not fully convinced. They’ll accept my package but what if I get there and they say they didn’t receive it.

Update 1: Just to add some clarity. Please see wishlist below, do you think these are too many deliveries?
- Dyson V15
- All in one soundbar ( dont know brand yet, if you have any reccomedations please say so budget $100-$250 usd)

    The shippers will ship, or the products will work
    The plane will leave
    The hotel won’t burn down
    You won’t be sent home at US immigration

    You don’t trust the hotel where it’s going, but somehow you can be convinced by strangers here at Ozbargain?

      I don’t think they’re going to hold parcels in a locker for two or three weeks. Two or three days more likely

      24-48 hour pickup or gets returned to Amazon in the US. Used them a fair bit mostly in petrol stations and they're quite busy.

    Does Amazon allow you to ship to a different country than where the CC is from?

    I had this issue when I was in the US years ago for work and all of the big chains back then did not allow it, so I had to go into the stores and get the stuff.

      They do. I bought multiple items at least 6 years back too. You will need to add an address to your profile though. Although, for US purchases, I shopped on the US site.

    Keep an eye on the tracking info - as soon as it's delivered call the hotel and tell them you know your package has been delivered and could they please hold onto it until you arrive. If they've said it isn't an issue, why are you still doubting them? It's the Hilton, not some dodgy 1-star establishment.

    I'm sure this is something that happens all the time at hotels.

    you did say hilton resort, is it hawaii? they have extra few days for delivery in some cases so delivery might be slower to arrive there.

    Change your flight and go 5 days earlier and do some of your shopping in store. That’s the best way to save money.

    I have done this for US shopping - but to a fancy hotel where I was staying for a number of nights so they were quite happy to receive parcels (I asked in advance - said it was xmas shopping for my daughter etc to create empathy). It was only a week before arrival.

    Obviously there is a risk and they said they would only take reasonable care of stuff that arrived. When I collected it was stored in the hotel safe.

    I had something shipped to the hotel in Las Vegas and had to arrange it prior with the hotel who charged me a fee. Before arranging make sure you check with the hotel policy. Don't assume that all hotels provide this service.

    Decide (when ordering) if you want them to dispatch items from an order individually or combined.

    Obviously update the Dispatch Address to Your Name @ Hilton with full Street Address and a Mobile (Cell) number including Country Code you can receive calls on.

      Yes this is what the hotel mentioned to have my name on the address. My concern is not with one package, I am worried if I get 5-10 items if they will be annoyed and some off tangent dude just takes my stuff.

    You can specify what day of the week and times you can accept deliveries.

    Say you arrive Wednesday, specify deliveries to that address be made on Thursdays.

    I found this out when they delivered my goods to my office on a Sunday. And of course it went missing sitting outside on the street.

    Amazon was good enough to replace it free of charge.
