I would find it hard to recommend Sony APS-C at this point. Need to see some actual commitment from Sony in the form of a proper refresh of their line (like Canon did with the R7/R10).
So the alpha7R series is too outdated in your opinion?

Sony full frame is fine, but the last APS-C update was in 2019 (A6100/A6400/A6600) which did inherit nice software updates but was very incremental in terms of design from their 2014-2016 models (A6000/A6300/A6500).

Really depends on brand preference in the end, Fuji offers better colours with film simulations & has a more retro look to it

I can’t live without shutter speed and iso wheels but yeah it’s purely brand preference.
If you don’t like editing raws or don’t edit raws, I’d recommend Fuji as their colours are also much more accurate.

Great body, high iso performance suffers… but worth it if you’re in the X mount ecosystem.
What's the benefits of the X mount ecosystem?
Size, handling and styling of the bodies. Files have really nice colours and skin tones.
Lenses are really fantastic too, but can be pricey. You get what you pay for!
