Are you still owned by St Ali?

    • Salvatore and mob still does the roasting.

  • Word of warning, mine arrived today and they were roasted 16 July 2022. If your after fresh roasted beans maybe look out for the next deal.

Mine arrived today too with the same roast date. I feel a bit duped. Whilst it seemed like a good deal, I feel like this is a detail that should have been shared so that people who care about these things can be informed before they purchase. Had I known this, I would not have bought. Those people who don't care probably still wouldn't care and would have bought anyway.

Unloading your 'aged' coffee for a discount is fine - if you disclose it.

100% agree, I also would not have ordered had they been upfront, more disappointing is I can see them telling people on Facebook “we aim to roast these right before we ship them to you so they'll be around 1-2 weeks from their roasting date once they are delivered” so either both our orders were a mistake or they are being outright deceptive

      • Certainly I think that not disclosing the roast date risks damaging the trust between business and customer.

        • Hey team - Our sincere apologies for this! We can confirm that the beans you've recieved (Steadfast from last week) were roasted on November 16, and labelled incorrectly as July 16. We are more than happy to provide a replacement if you'd like, please reach out to [email protected] with your proof of purchase. Again, apologies for the confusion here!

          • @marcwilson: Thanks for letting us know. Must be a nightmare to be managing, with how coffee people (myself included) get when we feel our source of life has been impacted! 😂

          • @marcwilson: Thank you for your reply and offer to replace. I'll take you at your word that it was a labelling error so no need to replace.
