        You didn’t need to replace it with a personalised plate? Wouldn’t insurance cover the costs of replacing a standard plate?

            You don’t change rego. You order a replacement of the existing number. $32.80 for non personalised plates. More for personalised - another reason I’ll never get a personalised one.

          @PainToad: It was a personalised plate that I replaced. I’m not sure, I will send the receipt to the insurance company, never thought of that tbh

        That plate would be $2500 ($2125 under this deal). The OzB way is to create a 3x3 plate

    Absolutely. I love that OTHER people spend money on this. It keeps the economy going! Some plates are amazing and funny. But the P-plater with their "DUREX" plates driving some flash car where several kittens (or our local brushtail possum) could hide in the exhaust pipe made me giggle. Also, "I "heart" Earth" on a 6l Jeep made me contemplate life. I find it entertaining too. Sitting in traffic wondering what goes through people's minds when they order them.
