  • Bought a different option, the orchid, but would never have known about this if not for the OP. Great gift option for an upcoming birthday and 29% off. Thanks!

When did you build her? ;)

      • +2

Well she's not fully built yet. Only done the middle part.

        • HAHAHA that's whats important. Leave out the voice box.

Ahhh, the lovely smell of … fresh polypropylene.

      • Spray them with floral air freshener scent

        • That might make them sticky and attract dust. Maybe I could buy a bottle of floral essence, drill a tiny hole in the lid, and store it behind the flowers.

  • Nice, had purchased the roses in the past. Which have been well received, had looked at these in the LEGO store in Melbourne Central.

I bought the Bird of Paradise and love it (as do the many people who notice it sitting in my office at work). The Succulents were quite good too, but would love to see the Orchid drop down to the same price as this.

I bought these for my elderly mother earlier in the year, and they're permanently on display in a vase in her house. She's never had a special interest in Lego, but it's popular right now and the flowers look really good - makes a great present.

Similar products in AliExpress for ~$15.
Not sure if the quality matches tho.

oh well… no suprises lego is ripping people off

Happened to be pondering the same thing, but for the Lego Orchid.

Ended up finding a couple of videos of someone actually comparing them

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXSJ8XrPgJE

Doesn't actually look too bad. Quality control may not be as tight but hey…as long as one doesn't look too close.

This sent me down an aliexpress rabbit hole of the best kind :D I've always been a fan of lego but their pricetags are exorbitant

  • BOUGHT.
got $7 credit when selecting pickup. so why not

  • I bought one for the missus for Xmas. Hoping she uses it either in the bathroom or kitchen to brighten up the place. Now like everyone here, just need a vase!

  • Any good suggestion for vase?
    Cheers

I like this kit. I had it arranged in a milkshake glass for a while until I got a proper vase for them.

  • Waiting for Bird of Paradise to go on sale.
