FRIBLK20FRIBLK22

This deal is for the accessories, not the drone

I figured I'd post this as I'm sure some of you are now in the market for the accessories.

The Fly More Kit Plus comes with larger capacity batteries that extends your flight time up to 47 minutes. These batteries will take your drone over the 249g limit.

If you don't need the higher capacity batteries, you should purchase the Fly More Kit

  • JB sell for 259? Different?

    • That's the non plus which have the regular, up to 34 minute flight time batteries.

      • I see, thanks just bought the drone yesterday, which is better?

        • If you plan to do hyperlapses, you will probably want the Fly More Kit Plus as the extra flight time would be useful. Otherwise if you want to save money, just get the Fly More Kit.

I've posted both kits as separate deals.

          • @thisusernameistaken: Thanks, first drone so not sure what ism going to do, still waiting card to arrive so can fly on the sky…

        • To clarify, the only difference between the non plus and the plus are the different capacity batteries.

          • @thisusernameistaken: Thanks a lot, they all new to here

            • @coast666: No worries. The only other suggestion is that I'd recommend you consider purchasing the DJI Care Refresh for accidental crashes or possible flyaway.

              • @thisusernameistaken: Is that from jbhi or dji directly? How much would be ?

                • @coast666: You can choose between one or two years. This plan can be purchased from DJI directly or through their resellers. JB Hi-Fi might sell it, I'm not too sure but I doubt there would be much of a price difference (if any). Not to be confused with the extra insurance that some retailers sell, this is accidental coverage plan offered by DJI.

Here is the 1 year plan and the 2 year plan.

                  • @thisusernameistaken: Thanks, seems not cheap but will consider. Last question, can the drone fly without sd card for the time being , is Sydney harbour allowed ? Thanks

                    • @coast666: Yes, you can fly the drone without an SD card. There is a small amount of storage, enough for photos or a very short video but I'd recommend getting an SD card for both the controller and drone.

You can check where you are allowed to fly on the open sky website. They also have a mobile app.

If you use the normal battery, not the Fly More Kit Plus batteries, you should be able to fly within 5.5km of an airport but it's best you read the rules

                      • @thisusernameistaken: Thanks, knew drone needs card, didn't know remote needs one also? Bought one from ebay and it's on the way, so needs to buy another one

                        • @coast666: The micro SD card for the controller is not absolutely necessary but if you get one, you can save low quality copies of the videos and photos from the drone as you fly. Useful to preview recordings or as a backup incase the drone is lost with the high quality, original copy.

                          • @thisusernameistaken: So HD footage will be recorded in both drone and remote ? Thanks for info, couldn't wait to try next week

                            • @coast666: Yeah, the footage is recorded on both but the drone will always have the bedt quality copy.

Footage on the drone: Original resolution that you intended to record at (for example 4k but you could choose to record at 1080p etc).

Footage on the controller: a compressed lower resolution copy of the footage from the drone that is streamed to the controller as you fly. It won't be the same quality as the drone's copy but useful if you want to preview the footage without downloading the video files off the microSD card on the drone or if the drone is lost.

You do need to enable cache recording in settings after inserting the micro SD card into the controller.

                              Does that make sense?

                • @coast666: Sydney Mobiles also have the DJI Care Refresh plans for sale which you can use the 20%/22% codes with. It took them almost 24 hours to send me the code via eBay message, though only after I got hold of them and badgered them to send it.

          • @thisusernameistaken: Worth noting that the plus battery brings the drone over 249g meaning there are sone extra rules you’ll have to comply to

  • +2

I don't even know what code I entered but I got this the other day for $280.02 delivered, down from $359 from the Camera House Aust ebay store…. Must have been one of the 22% off codes ??

    • +1

Nice!! That's a really amazing price.

    • I just tried and didn't work

    • Yeah me too. $280.02 - Are they all sold out now?

      • Just checked i used FRIBLK22 but it looks like Camera house has removed the listing now (or sold out). I got the drone and the flymore plus for under $1300

        • Damn!

        • What about the insurance are you going to get it? For me it’s a must have and I’m definitely going to get it but couldn’t find any discount for it. Might have to just buy rrp

    • Yes it would have been. I stacked it with the $20 shopback cashback too, (and gift cards) and will do TRS for this + the drone later. Not quite as good as the anaconda price beat guys but will settle.

  • OOS

    • Thank you. I have updated the deal

      • Back in stock just got one for $312 cheers
