Lenovo Legion 5 Pro Gen 7, 16" WQXGA, Ryzen 7 6800H, 1TB, 16GB DDR5, RTX 3070Ti US$1,686 (~A$2,550) Del'd @ Antonline (USA) eBay

Found this whilst browsing (also comes with 3 months game pass). Works out to about $2550 all up if you convert to USD yourself (through Wise etc), otherwise eBay shafts you another $125 with their FX. It’s also through eBay’s global shipping so you have a money back guarantee and don’t have to deal with all the import fun. Only thing you’ll have to do is buy an Australian ac power cord (only the end, not the whole adapter).

It’s an alright deal considering Lenovo’s current aus Black Friday sales are pretty poor, and they don’t include any 3070 legion 5’s.

Pretty average so far. But they tend to have the best regular/periodic deals

Getting a little ahead of ourselves. It’s not Friday yet

      • Do they usually have more deals come the actual Friday, or are the ‘black Friday’ deals they have running for the week around it all there are? Cause even with the 15% cash rewards the current ‘black Friday’ ones are meh

They may even have a separate Cyber Monday deal according to this

Parents who love their kids will put this under the Xmas tree

it is confirmed then, that i am the unloved child of my parents. :((

      • My parents didnt even buy me cheap mobile phone. I bought everything i own with my own money. I guess my parents believe in tough love.

you"ll have to do is buy an australian ac power cord.

    Yeah Nah

  • Is the international warranty the same as what you can purchase through the lenovo store?

Speaking from experience with an ideapad the onsite repair in a day or so has somewhat made up for the third keyboard to be replaced. I dread to think of the argument you would have if something goes wrong with one acquired via ebay + dealer + international.

    • Not sure tbh, after looking again possibly not for the legions. Guess that’s a risk one would have to take, although you could at least claim through eBay if something is immediately faulty.

  • Silly question, can i claim TRS at the airport if i travel overseas in December?

    • You can but you will have to pay it back if you bring it back. Or you can like not declare it and take your chances. Consequences range from paying the gst back. Or a steeper fine on top. Its a risk you take that only you can be blamed for doing so.

      • thank alot for the reply.
PS: you sound like a tax officer, mate ^^

        • No no. Just seen enough border security tv shows to know this is a thing.

  • 2.5k . No, thanks

    • I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better spec for the price.

  • how are you guys browsing the other items antoline has in their ebay store? I keep getting a "This Store has no inventory available in your location". Tried VPN, different browser (no ebay login) & different ISP. Is there something blocking it? Cheers
