Pretty poor camera even for kids. A second-hand Cybershot would be cheaper and better than this.
Kids should be using shock & water proof cameras. These are just junks.

This looks like something you could find on Aliexpress for $13.Edit: Had a quick search but there are so many results I can't find this exact one which seems to have a larger lens part and is rounder towards the bottom.
If you had enough time though you could probably find it.
