    JBL party box 100/110 is better IMO.
    Ive have both and got rid of the hyperboom.

    This is an amazing price tho

        Just love audio. I will happily jump ship for a slightly better deal.

        I do really love the JBL partybox100
        and want to save others the time of excessive research and testing like I have done.

        The hyperboom looks better+ slightly better stereo separation. but party box has much better presence and is just fun to listen to all music types.

  Highly recommend these. White got released around August / Sep it looks like. These are sexy. I’m glad it sold out or I would’ve been tempted to buy one…

  Given there are some people in comments who own these - I have some persisting issues with:

  • party-up being super buggy, with both pairing, and sometimes just disabling in the middle of a session;
  • if the speaker auto turns off after some time, it can be annoying to turn on again, requiring a long press where it needs to turn on, turn off, and then turn on again;
  • the app being rubbish;
  • I really wish this had a remote. I used it as a tv speaker for some time using optical out but inability to change volume without getting up drove me insane so I bought a sound bar. You can connect your phone to Bluetooth and change the volume using the remote, but if you connect your phone, then the output connects to the Bluetooth and you have to switch the setting back to optical. The optical functionality is cool but poorly implemented imo. There are too many impracticalities to use this as an entertainment speaker for your TV / gaming setup.

  Notwithstanding - I still love this speaker. I just wish they fixed those things… and it had USB C power. And a remote. I’m a bit disappointed they re-released the same speaker in white without rectifying any of the above.

    It's Bluetooth, your phone is the remote!

    Yes +1 for USB C power, but this one has a 19vdc plug, you can actual plug in an 18v drill battery and power it 👌🏼

    Yes the pairing is buggy sometimes. App seems to work better on a droid than iPhone IMHO
