I have purchased from them many times before, quality is about the same as buying from the optometrist, but for usually less than half the price.

Can vouch for them as well. I've ordered about 15 pairs from these guys. Main tip would be to make sure you pick frames with spring hinges. They last longer before needing to be reshaped. All have been worth the money considering how cheap they are. Also don't worry about any of the lens upsells. The cheapo ones with anti reflective coating are great.

    • how long does the coating lasts ?

frame description has detailing spring hinges yeah ?

You can filter the glasses by gender, shape, size etc. Go to Features and tick spring hinge. Coating seems to last ages. Certainly as good as my optician ones I used to buy. They do get some light scratches after a while from cleaning excessively (I hate dirty, smudgy glasses so clean them multiple times a day) but so did my expensive ones.

If you have bad vision they charge extra for lenses, basic option isn't available.

I got a pair of Zenni flex for my kid, already noticed a scratch on them. The black sunglass shading is really dark as well.

Might try clearly for some extra spares this time

      • Yeah which ever is cheaper and better , after all we are not communists

          Speak for yourself Comrade.

  • their own brand frames are about the same as specsavers in quality. annoying creaks, the odd rough edge, things like that. i've made quite a few orders with clearly over the years and the lenses they use feel quite a bit weaker than the basic lenses i get from opsm. about half the time, they come with scratches already from the fitting process. still, they can't be beat on price for getting prescription ray bans and thinner lenses.
