          Honestly a no brainer if you can pay the balance off before statement dates, hell even if you can't you're probably still way ahead as long as you keep on top of claims.

              @Jimothy Wongingtons: I would use a credit card rather than a debit card in that situation. If the card number gets stolen, it's the bank's money that is tied up while they investigate, not my actual cash.

    I have a Latitude 28 Degrees card. I receive no targeted offers / marketing. Do I need to "opt in" somehow?

    I only use card for these type of offers.

    Did get an offer for the special gift card, but i tried to spend at woolies with the one offered thru amex cashback and machine said no ( now need to find a shop to spend the low balance )

    Usually get these offers and rarely if ever use them, but not this time when I’d actually use the CW one. One thing that has changed recently though is I filed my first PP claim in several years which was for a few hundred dollars.

    Very rarely receive these offers. I rarely spend on the card so that is probably why. Amex give their offers regardless of your expenditure on the card.

      Thanks very much for pointing this out. Strange that I couldn’t find this option on any of my my iOS/iPadOS devices. But when I logged into the Latitude app on my Android device it was there.

      definitely no int. transaction fees/currency conversion fees.
      i havent really checked how its tracking against the advertised global MC exchange rate but i believe its generally very close if not same.

      There are other cards that do this too, it's by no means unique to the 28 Degrees.

      You definitely should never be paying international fees !

      You just tell them how much you want on the giftcard.

      Possibly an upper limit or even min amount, but i normally just do the minimum for cashback ;)

    CW purchase made on 19-Dec and cashback paid on 22-Dec. This is nice because on a couple of earlier Latitude 28° cashback deals they never paid until I complained.
