  • Anyone knows how it compares to gravox, or how it lasts once opened?

I opened a tub of this a year ago or more. I haven't noticed any difference in quality, flavour etc

      • +1

At this rate mine will last another 5-7 years because I keep forgetting I have it. I'll let everyone know how it tastes then. So far its 2 years in and fine.

      Leaves gravox for dead

        You got me sold

      Gravox taste better imo.

Bought this during a past deal. I loved gravy, couldn't get enough of it… Not anymore. This tub makes an ungodly amount of gravy. I've used it so many times but it doesn't look like made a dent

Theres no comparison this is far better than gravox & ive had no problem with the container lasting once opened 6 months or more also the Knorr gravy is even better again in my recommendation.

  • Thanks guys! Kids fell in love with a hawaiian dish loco moco and we are going thru so many tins of gravox.

Have been buying this at Costco for years.

Off the top of my head cheaper than this in store and under $10.00?.

Looked it up and if you are in their limited delivery areas $11.99 each delivered

    • Are you sure that's not the 1kg version?

      • I should have said 1kg.

1kg x 2 at Costco is still cheaper.

Mix 50/50 with cornflour and it lasts forever with little discernible difference.

    Looks vegan to me.

I'm a retired chef and know how to make quality stuff, but I tell you what… This stuff is bloody awesome and this is my go to for the family for a few years now.

It's just so easy to prepare and the taste is first rate. Unless I'm making something special, this is my go to every time.

Not only do we use it as a gravy, but we occasionally use it in stews and casseroles.

    Have a great day.

What an awesome Idea. I never thought to use it in stews. Will give it a shot. Cheers

        No worries.
Just start off with a small amount, as it can be quite strong in taste if you add way too much.
You can always add more, but not take it out.

        Enjoy!
