never fails to disappoint - highly recommended

    • ….say what?

    • Our new Sunday lunch, especially while its cold, is chip rolls with this gravy. Sooo good and loved by everyone in the family.

  • +1

Double strength it, make it nice and thick, slap it on an entire bag of frozen (now cooked) potato gems or chips.

Farken legend lunch for the lads.

    • Won't doubling the strength will make the gravy way too salty as well?

      • +4

Never experienced anything too salty, so I cant tell ya.

I enjoy a spoon of salt, or cm+ thick vegemite sandwich as a treat.

      • +1

adjust your potato gem salt or skip it completely

This is the legit stuff. Super common in chip shops as their gravy so the taste is familiar (in a good way)

  • 400 serves

    • Hahahaha, no.

      • Yeah, more like 4 serves.

  • Thanks op I just ran out last night perfect timing .

  • Besides size, is there any taste difference between this and the costco one?

  • +1

    Why you guys going low?
The 7.5kg is cheaper per 100g

MAGGI Classic Rich Gravy Mix, 7.5kg (Makes 75 Litres, 1500 Serves)

    • I like that it tells you litres.

Just reminds me of highschool when the hot chips would run out, but people would still just buy the gravy to snack on, drink, or dip random other lunchbox things into.

    • Your A true oz bargainer save 8 cents per 100g .I feel ripped off now buying this lol.

  • Just checked my order a year ago and paid $16.50 back then the good old days .

  • +1

Yes! Just in time for my gravy wrestling match!

  • Thanks OP, just bought this on 6 months S&S, that's about how long a tub lasts our family of 5.

  • Damn, wish they had a 1kg version.

    Maggi = Nestlé

    (profanity) Nestlé

    • Look, yes.

But how can I stay angry at such a lusciously velvety perfect in every way gravy ?

    • Yeah nestle is one of the truly evil corporations in the world. But how good is Milo!?!?

  • how long would the expiry be though?

    • +1

      FWIW you can freeze it.

      • cool thanks

The reviews for this are so entertaining!

One gravy to rule them all!

"This is the gravy that all other gravies aspire to be but the bar has been set so high that all other gravies spend their gravy lives in shame. If I was Gravysexual I would gladly marry this gravy……. it's that good."

  • If you live anywhere near a Golden Circle Factory outlet, they have this in stock at the moment for a decent price also :)

  • Costco also stocks this in the 1kg. Though I cant recall how much it was sorry.

  • Bought it and gravy is indeed good stuff, but if you're buying this expecting it to last you a year or two (as I was), think again - the tub I got expires in November. Guess it's gravy on cereal, sandwiches and steak for the next five months.
