This is akin to pre-order/click n collect that's why
Just order direct, it's better for the restaurant
How do?
Lets say theres a 30% markup on ordering services from the resturants to cover costs of service fees. (which is probably an over estimate as its usually ~20%)
I order $40 worth of food and get it for $25
The alternative is that i order through the resturant for pre-markup price ~$30-34
I would be more than happy to order directly from a rest…. oh wait, many dont do phone orders or if they do it can be hard to get past a linguistic barrier.
