This was about $350 a couple of days ago. Seems like a good price for a locally stocked and shipped alternative as they are largely the same product.

Been keeping an eye on the Arctis Nova 7P listing (currently ships from UK for around $280) on Amazon and saw this.

Wirelessly connects to PC/PS5/Switch

*Fully compatible with Tempest 3D Audio for PS5 / Microsoft Spatial Sound

  • Can i use it with XSX too? I have switch/ps5/xsx

    • Only the 7X variant of this line-up works with Xbox wirelessly. I've got the PS5/XSX but I play on the PS5 more as most my friends are there and will use the wired mode with XSX.

Yeah waiting for the 7X to drop so it works on everything.

  • Literally just bought the arctis 7p+ from jb yesterday….
Was waiting for these to drop fml.

    • go for JB return?

      • Cant if you opened them..
        Unless they are faulty.

        • Lucky it’s faulty then ;)

          • @ONEMariachi: Hah.
I wonder if they test it…. lol

            • +1

@hashish: I've brought back 2 actually faulty controllers over the years, and they never once tested or asked questions. So unlikely.

Just say intermittent connection or pairing issues. They won't question it.

    • Isn’t that better ?

  • Is the Nova 7P functionally different to the Nova 7 for PC purposes?

    • 7p is newer?

      • I thought the 'P' was just the designation for the 'PlayStation' version, but PS also uses USB-C? Similar to how the X is for Xbox.

Slightly, 7P has a sidetone dial instead of chatmix dial as Playstation doesn't support chartmix outside of PS branded headsets. Rest of it exactly the same.

      • Thanks! If it's used on a PC, will the dial function as a chatmix dial?

        • I highly doubt that else they'd be the same thing. Why though? Thinking of picking up the Nova 7P?

          • @paisedo: I bought the Nova 7P from Amazon UK a couple days ago, thinking the Nova 7 wouldn't come down on price - if it was a decent enough difference, was thinking of buying the 7 and returning the 7P, but doesn't seem to be the case.

            • @amo: If you are looking for chatmix functionality on PC then that won't really a bad idea tbh. Sidetone is basically the amount of your own voice that you can hear while speaking.

              • +1

@paisedo: Thanks for the help! Never had chatmix before but they both sound like good features. Planning on using them primarily for work meetings and then gaming so the sidetone feature might be more usable.

      • What about the 7+ , so many different variations
