  • Posted this before but a mod took it down.

    Paid around $275

  • Darn, it only supports displayport 1.2 so no dual 4k @ 60hz. LCD monitor manufacturers keep getting away with mediocre after mediocre. At least this is okay priced.

    • What do you mean by no dual 4k @ 60hz? If I currently have S2721QS (Dell 4k 60hz monitor), does that mean I couldn't use this Philips 288E2UAE as a secondary monitor?

      • The limitation has to do with the bandwidth of DP 1.2 specification. Two 4k 60hz signals just exceeds the total bandwidth that DP 1.2 can support. Unless I am wrong, this would mean when you plug in the 2nd 4k monitor it will only run at 30hz. Now if you have two displayport connections on independent lanes then this is a different story, both will run at 4k 60hz.

    • I have 4 x DP on my GPU so not concerned.
