I will pass as bought the Aldi SO Brazil beans for $17/kg, roast date was 1 week old.
They had Medium roast blend for $14/kg with roast date 4 days.
Noice! I just bought 5kg of sicilia in Adelaide their Italian blend for $65 after discount and picked it up.
I am not big fan of Italian blend, only buy 100% Arabica beans with medium roast.
Aldi dark roast is mix Robusta and Arabica for like $12/kg, so prob same taste profile of Italian blend but as said, I stick to what I like.
Why would you buy 5kg beans anyway, defeat the purpose of fresh roasted beans??
Do they now print roast dates on aldi beans??
Have for years. It's kinda in code though.
